IMPORTANT for PSAT Testers
Your PSAT test begins at 9:00 am tomorrow, Wednesday, October 15th.
Students taking the PSAT test should check the window in the Counseling Office to see their room assignment. You will be testing in Lec. C or A 101. Please bring No. 2 pencils with erasers, an approved calculator, (see pg 19), and a Student ID assigned by the school.
RHS Yoga Club is back by popular demand! Join Ms. Oglesby in A109 from 3:30-4:30p on Wednesday, October 22nd for a free yoga class just for students. Come stretch away your stress! Wear comfortable clothing. Mats are provided.

Voyage en France 2016 is coming! Grab a parent and/or guardian and meet us in Lecture Room C for an informational meeting today, October 14th at 6:30 pm, in which Mme H. and Mme O will present the itinerary for our next 11 day trip to France! Highlights of this trip include the beaches and coastal towns of the French Riviera; Lyon, the "foodie" capital of France; and of course, the City of Light itself, Paris!! Don't miss it!

Students: Just a reminder as we approach the end of Term 1, you are not allowed to miss the last consecutive 3 days of a term with out prior approval from an administrator. This would be Oct. 14th, 15th and 16th for Term 1. Please remember this and plan accordingly.

Reminder for all students: The school will not print schedules for Term 2. Students should be reviewing their schedule for term 2 by logging on to your RKids account, and visiting with counselors this week if you believe you need a change - look in the handbook for reasons schedule changes will be made.
Scholarship Opportunities for Seniors: Check out the Naviance list for some newly added scholarships. The deadlines may be months away, but do them now before the list gets a lot longer!
Juniors & Seniors: You are invited to the College STEM Career Day at ITT Technical Institute on Wednesday, October 29. If you are interested in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics, this trip is for you! The bus will leave RHS at 11:00 and return at 1:30. Lunch will be provided. You must sign up w/Mrs. Barker in the Guidance Office and turn in a permission slip by Wednesday, Oct. 22.
University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Nursing Campus Showcase - Sunday, Nov. 2, from 2-4 p.m., at 4101 Dewey Ave. During this event, you will gain information on the profession of nursing, learn how to be a competitive applicant, explore options to finance school and participate in hands-on activities in their simulation lab. Exploring Photography Program - Wed., Oct. 22, 7-8:30 p.m. on the UNO Campus, 6001 Dodge Street Omaha, (Room 112 in Arts & Sciences Hall). This Exploring program is a mix of photography classes and learning about running a business as a photographer. The first program night will take place at UNO's campus. Then visit an established photography business in Omaha, Johnston Photography. Learn to create and edit photos, run a green screen and manage a successful business.
