The following students need to see Mrs. Barker in the Counseling Office regarding the PSAT test:
Brianna Breazier, Brandon Estremira, Shalease Ford, Miranda Johnston, Kaelen Kinnaman, Hannah Lucas, Kierra Neal, Jordan Nielsen, Max Prohaska and Echo Young.

The 2015 Mr. RHS pageant will be held on Wednesday, October 7 at 7:30 P.M. in the RHS theatre.  Buy a ticket from your favorite contestant: Brandon Chriswell, Deonte Frazier, Curtis Grosse, Ryan McAleer, Dante McKenna, Ryan McNeely, Logan Snider, or Andrew Stone.  Cost is $5.00 in advance and $7.00 at the door.

This week is Banned Books Week, a time when libraries promote our freedom to read.  Stop in to the RHS Library and participate in our Banned Books Week Identify the Banned Book Contest.  If you correctly identify the books, you can win BBW swag.  Hurry!  Supplies are limited!

Student council will be hosting the Inaugural Glow Run!! This will be a fun 5K run/walk for all Ralston students, staff and family! Spread the news to friends and family! Details are below!

glow stick provided)

Register with any Stu Co Member or Ms. Hefflinger or Ms. Engel!! There is still space available - see Ms. Hefflinger or Ms. Engel to resister NOW. T-shirts will be available on a first come first served basis for those who register from now until race day!

Just a reminder!  Don't forget to bring in all your HyVee receipts to your homeroom classes!  Each month through December we will award a prize for the homeroom who brings in the highest total for the month!
Ralston Yoga Club is offering a FREE yoga class to students and staff on Thursday, October 8 from 4:00-5:00p in Ralston High School Media Center!
Bring yourself! Bring a friend! Get your yoga and relaxation on!
Have you ever discussed racism, sexism, ableism, or faithism? Whether your answer is yes or no, F.A.I.R. needs you! Join us on Monday, October 5 from 3:30-4:00 p.m. in A102 for snacks and a safe space to be yourself. We will be setting our monthly student-facilitated social justice discussion topics about issues that matter to you.

Homecoming ticket pre-sales will start THIS week! They will take place today only!  Students can buy a ticket & a t-shirt  for $20. Their names will also be entered into a drawing for gift cards if they participate in the pre-sale!This deal will only be good for today only!  Items cannot be purchased separately. If you want them separately you must wait until next week. 
The week of homecoming will be Oct. 5th-Oct 9th ticket prices will be $10 and t-shirt prices will be $15. 
The homecoming dance will take place at the high school on Saturday, October 10th. The dance will start at 7:30pm and end at 10:30pm.  All students attending the dance must bring their school IDs. They will be checked with their tickets. ​Ticket Prices will increase to $15 a ticket at the door so buy your tickets BEFORE​ the dance!! 
If you purchase a homecoming ticket deal this week your name will be put in the drawing to get your $20 back. Pay $20 for the t-shirt and ticket and get a chance to get it back!! This is only while supplies last! 

Outside Date Forms for Homecoming are now available in the main office.  The completed forms are due back by Thursday, October 8th.
College/Career Center
Attention sophomores, juniors & seniors!  Our next CAREER SPEAKER will be here onThursday, October 8,
during homeroom in Lecture Room C.  Come and listen to Holly Barstow talk about her career in the Financial Planning field.  Pizza will be provided.  You must sign up with
your ADVISOR in homeroom.  Only the first 50 students will be admitted.
Juniors & seniors:  If you are interested in attending the October 26th Campus Visit to UNL & Nebraska Wesleyan, you need to sign up with Mrs. Barker in Guidance.  A completed permission slip is required and due back to her on Monday, Oct. 19.  Attendance is limited to 60 students.

ACT Assistance League Review - Thursday, Oct. 22. Westside High School, 87th & Pacific St., 5:30 - 9:30 p.m.  Cost = $30.  Registration forms are available in C/C Center or go to:  www.omaha.assistanceleague.org.  Fee waivers are available.  See your counselor.

Washington University Info Session - Monday, Oct. 12, 7-8 p.m. at the Omaha Marriott, 10220 Regency Circle, Omaha.  No reservation is needed.
