The Freshmen Math Contest is during homeroom today!  If you signed up, please come to room A203 immediately!  
Seniors, it is time to check your name for your diploma.  See Mrs. Startzer in the office to make sure that your name is spelled correctly.

HOSA members:  If you took suckers to sell your money is DUE.  If you still have suckers left you need to return those as well.
Our next fundraiser will be Abby Candles!  Come to the meeting Tuesday to find out more.

HOSA:  Sweet Treat is Monday!  Decorating starts after school.  If you can be here to help hand out candy be here by6:15!  Community Service and lots of fun.
Come and support the freshman and sophomore class officers today after school! They will be selling bakery made cupcakes for $2!! You will not want to miss out!! 

The RHS READERS Book Club will meet today, October 24th during all three lunches in the back of the media center.  Stop by if you need a pass.  We will be talking about October reads -- horror, sci fi, mystery, paranormal.  See you there!


SENIORS:  If you plan to graduate in May of 2015 and want your name to be printed correctly on the back of the senior class T-shirt, check the list in Ms. Rowley's room (B220), in Mrs. Honz's room (B206), in the main office on the counter by Mrs. Lewis's desk, or in your senior English class.  Please follow the directions that are posted along with the list of names.  You need to correct your name on only one list.  Please check your name by the end of the day TODAY.

SENIORS:  Be sure to check the T-shirt designs posted in the office window facing the commons. If you did not vote on the designs in homeroom yesterday, you should vote today.
Spanish club: We will be planning and building decorations for Sweet Treat night today after school.  Check your email or talk to Ms Hoesly for details.
And remember: all the time you put in counts for community service!
Make Up Test Day ----   ASPIRE TEST
The following students should report to C107 on Wednesday, October 29, at 8:40 am to take the ASPIRE tests:
Jordan Miranda, Damien Adams, Jakob Breazier, Kaycee Rapp, Katie Besse, Mariah Moore, Briana Leinen, Rachel Angeli, Edwin Garcia-Hernandez, Natasha Hernandez, Dillon Brundy, Nathan Sailors, Morgen Rapp, Shawn Callen, Samantha Slizoski, Moises Chirino, Taylor Sramek, Dylan Morgan, Dairy Nicole Perez, Kylie Reiners.

Do you like to work with pets?  Then check out this opportunity at Bart's Pet Store on 4425 So. 84th Street.  Through a special program, he would like to hire a good worker who would earn $4.25 cash per hour in a 2-3 hour shift per day for 90 days.  After then if all goes well, the pay would increase to minimum wage ($7.25) on a regular payroll.  Applicants must be between 16 and 19 years of age.  The pets are mostly exotic including snakes, lizards, tortoises, spiders. Duties would be mainly cleaning, but there would also be some feeding of the animals, and other routine tasks.  You can apply in person or phone 402-933-9100 for more details.
Those students participating in the community service:  Hoofin" It For Hunger this Sunday, meet in the back teachers parking lot and check in by 1:00 p.m.  Wear comfortable walking shoes and appropriate clothing.  Get your community service form from the counseling office or in Ms. H's Room A120, get a parent signature and bring that along with you!  
College/Career Center
If you are registered for the ACT Test this Saturday, remember to report to your test site tomorrow.
Seniors:  If you are having problems completing your transcript information to UNL, please read the following information from them:
In order to provide personalized support for students completing the application, and the opportunity to ask additional questions, the Office of Admissions has extended its hours of operation on the following days: October 22 - 30, 2014: Monday - Thursday: until 8:00 pm CDT  & Sunday: 4:00 - 8:00 pm CDT.  Call 402.472.2023 for staff assistance.

Omaha College Fair - Sunday, Oct. 26, 1-4 p.m. at UNO's Sapp Fieldhouse.  There are 165 colleges participating. Juniors and seniors:  Remember to take your bar codes!
