Students: look around the school for the DECA DIAMOND CARDS. Read about DECA and bring the card to Room A120 for a prize. Students may only redeem one card per person. There are 100 cards that will be on the walls the next few days!
F.A.I.R. wants you! Every Monday from 3:30-4:00p in A109. Come find out about how to attend IncluCity camp in January or apply to have an internship at a local non-profit organization.
RHS Yoga Club is back by popular demand! Join Ms. Oglesby in A109 from 3:30-4:30p on Wednesday, October 22nd for a free yoga class just for students. Come stretch away your stress! Wear comfortable clothing. Mats are provided.
RHS Readers Book Club will meet today during all three lunch periods in the back of the Media Center. The theme for this meeting is sarcasm/sass, chosen by Ms. Sara (who has been known to be a tad sassy.). If you have questions or need a pass, stop by the media center. Bring a friend and you could win a book. See you there!
Monday, October 6th - during homeroom seniors and sophomores will meet in the theater with Jostens to discuss class ring orders and graduation orders. Jostens will then be here on Wednesday, Oct. 8th - Friday, Oct. 10th during lunch shifts. They will accept orders during this time.
Ralston’s Gay-Straight Alliance (GSA) will be meeting this Tuesday, October 7th in room B208 at 3:25, right after school. Please come to enjoy great activities, electing officers, meeting new people, food and fun! Everyone is welcome regardless of whether you identify as GLBT or straight. This is a great club to meet new people and spread awareness and combat bullying amongst all students. Please see Ms. Stark if you have any questions

Students: Just a reminder as we approach the end of Term 1, you are not allowed to miss the last consecutive 3 days of a term with out prior approval from an administrator. This would be Oct. 14th, 15th and 16th for Term 1. Please remember this and plan accordingly.
Families in Need
The Mobile Food Pantry is a traveling food pantry that delivers food directly to families in need for a one-day distribution. The pantry is available to students and families in our area and it is free of charge. The next date for the Food Pantry is October 11 at the Harrison Street Baptist Church, 8015 Harrison St., LaVista. No restrictions. Anyone who needs food is welcomed.
There is a list of new times to arrive, and rotation schedule, so please see the list in the Counseling Office or call Messiah Lutheran Church # 402-331-5510. Please bring your own box or basket.
Students that would like to volunteer may call Messiah Lutheran Church. Please pick up a Community Service form in the office.
Remember to sign up in your homeroom for our 1st Career Speaker on Thursday, Oct. 9th. He is Mr. Adam Klinker (RHS grad) and editor of the Ralston Recorder. Free pizza and prizes will be provided. This is open to all grade levels. Space is limited, so sign up today!
