Fashion Club will meet on Wednesday October 8th in A107 from 3:25pm - 4:30 pm.  Come for fun, snacks and creativity! Still open to new members. Questions?  Contact Mrs. Krist. 

The next DECA meeting is tonight, Monday, October 6 beginning promptly at 6:30 PM we have a guest presenter. 
F.A.I.R. wants you! Every Monday from 3:30-4:00p in A109. Come find out about how to attend IncluCity camp in January or apply to have an internship at a local non-profit organization.

HOSA members going to Fall Leadership in Lincoln:  If you are planning to go I MUST have your registration today.  Registration closes at 4PM! You can bring your registration fee any time this week but registration is DUE.

RHS Yoga Club is back by popular demand! Join Ms. Oglesby in A109 from 3:30-4:30p on Wednesday, October 22nd for a free yoga class just for students. Come stretch away your stress! Wear comfortable clothing. Mats are provided.

Latino Leadership Council will meet this Wednesday, October 8th at 3:30pm in the Media center!

Voyage en France 2016 is coming! Grab a parent and/or guardian and meet us in Lecture Room C for an informational meeting on Tuesday, October 14th at 6:30 pm, in which Mme H. and Mme O will present the itinerary for our next 11 day trip to France! Highlights of this trip include the beaches and coastal towns of the French Riviera; Lyon, the "foodie" capital of France; and of course, the City of Light itself, Paris!! Don't miss it!
Today, October 6th - during homeroom seniors and sophomores will meet in the theater with Jostens to discuss class ring orders and graduation orders.  Jostens will then be here on Wednesday, Oct. 8th - Friday, Oct. 10th during lunch shifts.  They will accept orders during this time.

Ralston’s Gay-Straight Alliance (GSA) will be meeting this Tuesday, October 7th in room B208 at 3:25, right after school. Please come to enjoy great activities, electing officers, meeting new people, food and fun! Everyone is welcome regardless of whether you identify as GLBT or straight. This is a great club to meet new people and spread awareness and combat bullying amongst all students. Please see Ms. Stark if you have any questions
Students, Jack Martin will be here on Tuesday, October 14th for picture re-takes.  They will be here for all 3 lunch shifts.  Order forms are available on line under "Parent Access", "Documents", "2014/2015 Student Check in".
Students:  Just a reminder as we approach the end of Term 1, you are not allowed to miss the last consecutive 3 days of a term with out prior approval from an administrator.  This would be Oct. 14th, 15th and 16th for Term 1.  Please remember this and plan accordingly.
Families in Need
The Mobile Food Pantry is a traveling food pantry that delivers food directly to families in need for a one-day distribution.  The pantry is available to students and families in our area and it is free of charge. The next date for the Food Pantry is October 11 at the Harrison Street Baptist Church, 8015 Harrison St., LaVista. No restrictions.  Anyone who needs food is welcomed. 
There is a list of new times to arrive, and rotation schedule, so please see the list in the Counseling Office or call Messiah Lutheran Church # 402-331-5510. Please bring your own box or basket.
Volunteer ??
Students that would like to volunteer may call Messiah Lutheran Church.  Please pick up a Community Service form in the office.

College/Career Center
Remember to sign up in your homeroom for our 1st Career Speaker on Thursday, Oct. 9th.  He is Mr. Adam Klinker (RHS grad) and editor of the Ralston Recorder.
Free pizza and prizes will be provided.  This is open to all grade levels.  Space is limited, so sign up today!
College representative in C/C Center today:  Wayne State College at 8:30.

UNO College of Information Science & Technology - Explore Day - Sunday, Oct. 26, 12-3 p.m. at their campus on 1110 S. 67 St., Omaha.  You are invited to explore the information and science & technology offered at the Peter Kiewit Institute.
