RHS Students: To celebrate Entrepreneurship Month The DECA Idea Challenge 2015 is a fast-paced competition that challenges student teams around the globe to find an innovative new use for a commonplace item in eight days. Student teams of three to five members are asked to pitch their invention in a creative 3-minute YouTube video presentation. You have until next Friday. Stop in Mrs. Hinchcliff's room (A120) for more information. You do not have to be in business classes or DECA.
Don't see what you want at the book fair? There are hundreds more items available through the online fair, AND our school still gets credit for your purchases. Items will be delivered to school within one week. Check out the online book fair here:
RHS Readers Club is sponsoring a theater takeover for opening night, November 20th, of "Mockingjay, Part 2" -- the final installment of "The Hunger Games" series. We are going to the 7 pm showing at AkSarBen Cinema Let's pack the theater with RHS students, staff, and friends. Stop by the library for details.
The Scholastic Book Fair is here all week in the RHS Library with more YA titles than ever before. Stop by before or after school, during a free period or study hall, or ask your teacher to bring your class down to shop. You can even take advantage of teacher requests and purchase a book for your classroom library, or the school's little free library by the front entrance.
