"Mockingjay, Part 1," the third installment of The Hunger Games Saga, is opening on November 20th. The RHS Readers Book Club is sponsoring an all-school movie night at AkSarBen Theater on TODAY, November 21st. Join us for the 7:30 p.m. showing. Tickets are $9.50 and can be purchased in advance from Ms. Olsen, or at the theater on that date. For more information, stop by the media center, or ask a book club member.

HOSA - we have order forms in Mrs. Ziegler's room for HOSA shirts! Stop by and pick one up. Don't forget to come to Macho Man Volleyball on Tuesday night. HOSA and DECA are sponsoring this with all proceeds going to the Leukemia/Lymphoma Society!
Join FAIR for diversity, activities, and cookies on Monday, November 24 from 3:20-3:45p in B120. We will plan our "Hugs Not Hate" event and make posters!
Got some old books laying around? Round them all up and donate them to the book drive to help support the Latino Center of the Midlands! The homeroom with the most collected books during this time period will get to choose from a pizza party or donuts and juice. You can donate them to your designated homeroom box from November 4th-21st to support and help win for your homeroom.
Information and registration papers for the Winter/Spring Driver's Education is now available in the office. Registration will be held on January 13th and 14th.

Calling all students! Our Career Speaker for December is Nicole Sova, Physical Therapist, at Excel Physical Therapy. All grade levels are invited to attend onThursday, Dec. 4th. Come to the back of the Media Center during homeroom and enjoy great information + Free PIZZA! You must sign up with your homeroom teacher. Space is limited, so don't delay!
Juniors and Seniors: You are invited to visit the campuses of Concordia and Doane Colleges for free on Tuesday, Dec. 9. Lunch will be provided. You must be passing your classes, in good standing, without excessive absences & on track to graduate. The bus will leave RHS at 8:00 a.m. and return at 3:00 p.m. You will meet in the Media Center at 7:30 a.m. for doughnuts and instructions for the day. Sign up w/Mrs. Barker in the Guidance Office. All students must return a PERMISSION FORM to Mrs. Barker by Tuesday, Dec. 2.
The Omaha World Herald is sponsoring a six-session program for high-achieving students who will learn the basics of journalism, practice the craft and publish photos and short articles. First session is Feb. 10 at 6 p.m. at the OWH building, 1314 Douglas St. Cost=$30. Space is limited to 25 students. Sign up online at: www.omahaexploring.org
