RHS READERS Club will meet Wednesday, Nov. 4th during both lunch periods.  We will discuss what we are currently reading and make plans to go see Mockingjay, Part 2 as a group.  Stop by if you need a pass to bring your lunch from the cafeteria.  We've made arrangements so you don't need to return your tray at the end. See you there!

Students and Staff:  Mark Nov. 11th on your calendar for Macho Man Volleyball.  HOSA and DECA will be sponsoring the event to raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.  Guys that are interested in playing need to sign up in room A120 as soon as possible.  There will be 8 teams.  Cost will be $3 in advance or $4 at the door. Tickets go on sale next week.
On Wednesday November 4th, there will be a cyber security expert, Mr. Ron Woerner, coming to speak to the high school at 2:00 pm in the media center. If you are interested in cyber security or hacking of some sort, and would like to attend, please let Mr. O'Reilly know.  You must sign up prior to November 4th.

Seniors:  Jostens will be back to take graduation announcement and cap & gown orders on Thursday, November 12during all 3 lunch shifts.  This is the time to turn in your orders directly to a representative, or ask any questions you might have.  Please note:  prices will INCREASE at the end of November!
Become a Student Athletic Trainer! Be involved in RHS athletics, earn service hours, learn about a medical profession, have fun, and meet new people. Must be able to commit to working a regular schedule. Options for after school and events only commitments are available. Duties will include basic taping and wound care, practice/event preparation, and attending RHS practices and events as scheduled. If interested email Co Schneider at colleen.schneider@ralstonschools.org no later than Wednesday November 11th. In your email, please include why you are interested in this opportunity, what type of schedule you are interested in (afternoons, events only, particular sport, etc), and any schedule conflicts you might have.Those students selected to participate during the winter season will be notified by Thursday November 12th. Orientation and training meeting will be held Friday November 13th after school starting at 3:30 for 1-1.5 hours. Winter practices start Monday November 16th.
College/Career Center
College rep in C/C Center today:  N.W. Missouri State University at 9:00.  
Juniors & Seniors: Our next campus visit will be on Thursday, November 12, to Midland University in Fremont.  Doughnuts and instructions will be served in Lec. C at 8:00 a.m., with the bus leaving at 8:30 a.m. and returning at 1:15. Sign up with Mrs. Barker in Guidance.  Attendance is limited to the first 30 students who sign up & return their PERMISSION FORMS BY NOVEMBER 5.

UNL's Nebraska Diversity Leadership Symposia - Wed., Nov. 11 (Black) & Wed., Nov. 18(Latino) on UNL's campus.  Admission of $10  includes t-shirt and lunch.  Register at: admissions.unl.edu/diversity
Northeast Community College Veterinary Technology Career Day - Wed., Nov. 18, 9:00-noon on the Norfolk campus, 801 East Benjamin Ave.  Their quality two-year program is one of the most affordable in the region.  Register at:  northeast.edu/2015/VetTech or call:  402-844-7262.
Athletics/Activities
There will be an informational meeting for everyone interested in wrestling, Tuesday November 3rd after school in the aux gym.  If you have any questions please contact coach Fink.

BOYS BASKETBALL MEETING - Anyone planning on playing boys basketball this year needs to attend a mandatory meeting MONDAY November 9th in Lecture Room C at 3:30.   If you can't attend please let Coach Jackson know.
