RHS READERS Club will meet today, Nov. 4th during both lunch periods. We will discuss what we are currently reading and make plans to go see Mockingjay, Part 2 as a group. Stop by if you need a pass to bring your lunch from the cafeteria. We've made arrangements so you don't need to return your tray at the end. See you there!
FCA: The Fellowship of Christian Athletes will meet THIS Thursday morning @ 7:15am in Room C107!
Students and Staff: Mark Nov. 11th on your calendar for Macho Man Volleyball. HOSA and DECA will be sponsoring the event to raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Guys that are interested in playing need to sign up in room A120 as soon as possible. There will be 8 teams. Cost will be $3 in advance or $4 at the door. Tickets are on sale now in Room A120 or buy one from any of the following captains: Nikki Drosche, Adele Bourke, Miranda Johnston, Monica Cervantes, Kassie Kraemer, Elizabeth Byrnes, Mariah Moore, or Ashley Turner.
Seniors: Jostens will be back to take graduation announcement and cap & gown orders on Thursday, November 12during all 3 lunch shifts. This is the time to turn in your orders directly to a representative, or ask any questions you might have. Please note: prices will INCREASE at the end of November!
Become a Student Athletic Trainer! Be involved in RHS athletics, earn service hours, learn about a medical profession, have fun, and meet new people. Must be able to commit to working a regular schedule. Options for after school and events only commitments are available. Duties will include basic taping and wound care, practice/event preparation, and attending RHS practices and events as scheduled. If interested email Co Schneider at email@example.com no later than Wednesday November 11th. In your email, please include why you are interested in this opportunity, what type of schedule you are interested in (afternoons, events only, particular sport, etc), and any schedule conflicts you might have.Those students selected to participate during the winter season will be notified by Thursday November 12th. Orientation and training meeting will be held Friday November 13th after school starting at 3:30 for 1-1.5 hours. Winter practices start Monday November 16th.
A Nebraska National Guard representative will be in the cafeteria today during lunch.
BOYS BASKETBALL MEETING - Anyone planning on playing boys basketball this year needs to attend a mandatory meeting MONDAY November 9th in Lecture Room C at 3:30. If you can't attend please let Coach Jackson know.
