Math Club will NOT meet on Monday.  The next Math Club meeting will be on Monday January 12th.

Students just a reminder as stated in the current Student Handbook, "the school does not assume responsibility for lost or stolen personal property."  This includes any and all electronic devices including cellphones.  We have had a rash of misplaced/missing cellphones.  It is YOUR responsibility, if you choose to have your cellphone here at school, to keep track of it.  Do not leave it unattended, left in the open, or in an unlocked locker.

Any student that wishes to try to test out of Personal Finance must take the waiver exam on Jan. 2, 2015 at 9:00 a.m. in Room A119. Stop by Mrs. Hinchcliff's Room A120 to check out a book and study guide before break.  The exam takes approximately 2 hours.

Freshman and Sophomore Class officers will be selling candy-grams before and after school this week! Send a friend, teacher or special someone a Holiday treat before Winter break begins! Candy-grams will be sold before and after school all this week or from any class officer! They can be purchased for $1! Deliveries will be made during Homeroom the last two days before break.

French Club, our final meeting of the semester will be our holiday party on Thursday, December 18th. Come in for treats, drinks, and (as always), a crazy good time! If you are participating in Secret Santa, you should have received a notice from your homeroom teacher to inform you of who you should bring a gift for. PLEASE don't forget to bring a wrapped present for that person to our party for the gift exchange!
SENIORS: Photos are due to yearbook before we go to break (Dec. 19th)!  We want to see every 2015 senior in our book, so get those turned in.  Give a print to Mrs. Honz or email it to the rhsyearbook email.  Thanks!

Students enrolled in English 1, AR second semester with Mrs. McGrath, do not forget your pre-class reading requirement.  You can access the necessary info on her website or stop in her room B219.

HOSA - don't forget the Holiday "dinner" next Tuesday after school!  Look at your form to see what you should bring!  It will fun and tasty!!  See you then.
DECEMBEARD If you want to see a funny design shaved into the beards of some teachers during finals week decembeard is for you.  Just donate money to the beard design you like best at lunch time or in Mr. Janssen's room (D-154).  The design with the most money will be the one used.  If $50 is raised Mr. Janssen will shave the design, at $100 Mr. Rasgorshek, at $150 Mr. Gaston, and at $200 Mr. Frye.  All money goes to the Student Council fund for upcoming events!
UPDATE:  The total so far is $131.26!  If we get $18 more today, Mr. Gaston is in, if we get $68 more Mr. Frye is in!

Are you passionate about making a difference? Are you ready to challenge your assumptions about others? Would you like to make friends from other Omaha schools? If you answered 'yes' to any of these questions, we want you! January IncluCity is a 4-day camp, from January 16-19, that develops human relation and leadership skills. For an experience you will never forget, please see Ms. Oglesby (A109) or Ms. Weland (B120) for an application. Wednesday, December 17 is the final deadline for applications!

Did you know we have students at RHS walking to school in this bitter cold weather without a coat or way to purchase one?  Please consider purchasing a coat for student at RHS on your Christmas/Holiday Shopping spree.  We need all sizes for both girls and boys. Just drop off your donation to the Counseling Office, and NHS students will help organize them for "shopping" for the students.  If you would rather give money, NHS students will purchase them for you.  Thank you!
Information and registration papers for the Winter/Spring Driver's Education is now available in the office.  Registration will be held on January 13th and 14th.
