Students just a reminder as stated in the current Student Handbook, "the school does not assume responsibility for lost or stolen personal property."  This includes any and all electronic devices including cellphones.  We have had a rash of misplaced/missing cellphones.  It is YOUR responsibility, if you choose to have your cellphone here at school, to keep track of it.  Do not leave it unattended, left in the open, or in an unlocked locker.
Freshman and Sophomore Class officers will be selling candy-grams before and after school this week! Send a friend, teacher or special someone a Holiday treat before Winter break begins! Candy-grams will be sold before and after school all this week or from any class officer! They can be purchased for $1! Deliveries will be made during Homeroom the last two days before break.

Students enrolled in English 1, AR second semester with Mrs. McGrath, do not forget your pre-class reading requirement.  You can access the necessary info on her website or stop in her room B219.

Attention Key Club Members - We will meet Thursday after school to celebrate the holidays and prepare for the new year. Bring a friend. New members are always welcome!  Thursday after school in D152.
DECEMBEARD If you want to see a funny design shaved into the beards of some teachers during finals week decembeard is for you.  Just donate money to the beard design you like best at lunch time or in Mr. Janssen's room (D-154).  The design with the most money will be the one used.  If $50 is raised Mr. Janssen will shave the design, at $100 Mr. Rasgorshek, at $150 Mr. Gaston, and at $200 Mr. Frye.  All money goes to the Student Council fund for upcoming events!

Still been thinking about the Spain trip this summer?  Don't need another sweater for the holidays this year?  (Or seniors, do you really need to host a gradation party when you can go to all your friends' in May?) Ask to put that money towards this once-in-a-lifetime trip instead!  Due to multiple, recent requests, Señora Hoesly will be holding one more informational meeting after school on Thursday, December 11 in her room. Come hear about the beaches, food, art, and history we will experience, and also a limited-time discount for new registrants!
*Interested faculty: this also includes you!  Ms Hoesly recently lined up a small (but still counts!) faculty discount for any interested RHS staff.

Latino Leadership Council:  Holiday Meeting on Wednesday, December 10th, 3:30 p.m.in the Media Center.
Did you know we have students at RHS walking to school in this bitter cold weather without a coat or way to purchase one?  Please consider purchasing a coat for student at RHS on your Christmas/Holiday Shopping spree.  We need all sizes for both girls and boys. Just drop off your donation to the Counseling Office, and NHS students will help organize them for "shopping" for the students.  If you would rather give money, NHS students will purchase them for you.  Thank you!

Still considering traveling to France in 2016? There is still time to sign up! Due to multiple student requests, Mme H. and Mme O. will be hosting a second informational meeting for our upcoming trip, which highlights multiple beaches along the Mediterranean Sea , Lyon, the "foodie" capital of France, and of course, the City of Lights itself, Paris! Prices are reduced for early enrollment, so grab a parent or guardian and meet us today, December 9th at 6:30 in lecture room C!

Spanish club will meet to celebrate the holidays on December 10th and 17th after school in Ms Hoesly's room.  Come share in the cheer y celebración!
