9th & 10th grade class council will be coming around this week in homeroom to sell candy cane reindeer for ONLY $1!   Fill out a delivery tag and the candy cane reindeer will be delivered to anyone in the school this next week.   A great way to say Happy Holidays!!

Take a (short) break from studying by joining RHS READERS Club Wednesday, December 14 from 3:30-5:00 p.m. in the Library for our holiday party!  We will have an ugly sweater contest, make bookmarks, have a book exchange, and enjoy some holiday treats.  See you there!

INCLUCITY CAMP: Are you passionate about making a difference? Are you ready to challenge your assumptions about others? Would you like to make friends from other Omaha schools? If you answered 'yes' to any of these questions, we want you! January IncluCity is a 4-day camp, from January 15-18, that develops human relation and leadership skills. For an experience you will never forget, please see Ms. Oglesby (A109) or Ms. Weland (B120) for an application. Applications are due by Friday, December 18.

Join French Club today, December 9 from 3:30-4:00 p.m. in A102 for our holiday party! Santa will visit us while we make Eiffel Tower ornaments, have a bûche de Noël eating contest, and enjoy chocolat chaud! See you there!

Due to popular demand, Ralston High School will be traveling to France in 2017! Come to our informational meeting tonight, December 9th from 6:00-7:30 p.m. in Lecture Room C. Our 2017 trip will travel for twelve days, June 5-17, to the Loire Valley, Montpellier, and Paris. See Madame Oglesby or Madame Henry for more information!

College Possible representatives will be here speaking in all sophomore homerooms on Thursday December 10.  

Mr. Burling is planning on having a drivers education class over winter break.  If you are interested please stop by his office, talk to him in the hallway or email him for details.  It will be crazy fun. 

Community Service Opportunities
Serene Care Hospice is looking for student volunteers aged sixteen or older to assist patients for as little as one hour a week. This service offers a chance to share stories, assist with small tasks, watching a favorite show, sharing any musical talents you may have to enhance the happiness of their patients. The Mobile Food Pantry provides food for needy families in our area.  They need student volunteers to help on December 12th, at the Harrison Street Baptist Church, 8015 Harrison St.

College/Career Center
A Marine representative will be in the cafeteria today during lunch.
If you signed up for and have received an admission ticket, remember to go to  Lec. Room C tomorrow during homeroom to hear our career speaker.  This will run from 1:14 to 1:44only.
