Due to RHS READERS Club activity after school, the RHS Library will close at 3:17.
An Important Message from our IT department:
To get our students back up and running on the guest network, we will be offering amnesty for all students from noon on Wednesday, January 20th, until noon on Friday, January  22nd.
The expectation is that our guest network is for our students and visitors to the district.  The guest network has been beefed up to handle normal (non-HD) streaming and regular network usage.  The School Guest network password is ralstonrams
The RalstonHighSchool network is for district equipment only.  In order for our testing and general usage to run at its optimal speed we need to keep the network usage in this fashion.
Users venturing back onto the RalstonHighSchool network will stay banned for an extended time.  It is a privilege and not a right to have internet access.  Please abide by the rules set by the district administration.
RHS READERS Club Members, check your email for an important message regarding activities this week.

SENIORS:  We need photos for the senior class video, which will be shown at the Senior Banquet.  We want pictures from elementary school through high school.  (No baby pictures or family pictures please.)  We are especially interested in pictures of you and your friends, group class photos, and team pictures.  The more seniors who are represented in the video, the better.  Put your name on the back of every picture you submit, and give your pictures to Ms. Honz in B206 or Ms. Rowley in B220.  If your photos are digital, please burn them to a DVD or put them on a flash drive and submit to Mrs. Honz or Ms. Rowley.  Deadline for submitting pictures is Wednesday, February 17, 2016.

Our Little Free Library, located outside next to door 31, continues to supply books to RHS students and the Ralston community, but we need your help.  We are looking for donations of books, especially children's books, to place in the LFL.  Drop off any donations to the RHS Library, and we will get them into the Little Free Library.  Thank you in advance!

SENIORS:
Buy your tickets to the senior lock-in!  The lock-in is Friday, February 5 after the varsity boys basketball game until 1:30 A.M.  Buy your ticket from any senior class officer, Mrs. Honz in room B206, or Ms. Rowley in B220 by the end of the day on Wednesday, February 3.  No tickets will be sold at the door.  This event is for Ralston High School seniors only.

If you signed up to volunteer for the debate tournament on February 6th, there will be a meeting on February 3rd immediately after school from 3:15-3:45 to discuss jobs and what time to show up. If you're still interested in getting community service hours, contact Mr. Garst and he will put you on a wait list.

The Ralston Gender/Sexualities alliance will meet for the first time this semester today the 21st. We will be discussing the National Day of Silence and the other GSA events.

There will be a Key Club Meeting after school today in Mr. Earhart's room D 152.

Does kayaking, zip-lining, horseback riding, relaxing in a hot spring and on a beach sound good to you?  Join our group from RHS that is going to Costa Rica in June 2017!  For more information just ask Sra. Plugge or Honke and grab a flyer outside A104.  $100 off the price until March of this year!  A payment plan is available and you have over a year to save.  It is possible!
Friday, January 29 there will be a blood drive from 8:00am until 2:00pm.  The Red Cross is bringing two buses for the drive and they will be located in the front circle area.
Please note: there is an age limit. If you are 16 you will need to pick up a form and have your parent/ legal guardian sign giving you permission to donate. This must be turned in before the blood drive.  See Mrs. Ziegler in room G120 for this form, or if you have questions.
Give blood, save lives!
