FAIR will not meet today after school. Our next FAIR meeting with be Monday, February 2 from 3:30-4:30p. One of our Inclusive Communities Interns will be facilitating an interfatih conversation. Please come to participate in or listen to a respectful dialogue about different religions and faiths. Snacks will be provided.

There will be no Quiz Bowl practice today, January 26th. Plan to be back at it February 2nd. 

RHS READERS Book Club will be playing Mafia after school this Thursday, January 29th, in the Media Center.  Stop by and see Ms. Olsen for details.
There will be a small blood drive on Friday January 30th!  This blood drive will be held on the Red Cross buses.  HOSA and Health Science students are recruiting now.  You can also stop by room G120 to sign up.  16 year olds will need parent permission forms and everyone will need a photo ID.

RHS Yoga Club will meet this week! Please join us in room A109 for a free yoga class from 3:30-4:30p every first and third Thursday of the month starting Thursday, January 29. Wear comfortable clothes. Mats are provided. Contactdene.oglesby@ralstonschools.org with questions.
Seniors:  the forms for Ads for Grads for this years yearbook are available in the main office!  Deadline for the form and payment is March 1st!
The next Spanish club meeting is Tuesday, January 27th.  ¡Noche de Karaoke!  Prepare your best song and get ready to sing your heart out.  Or come support your musical friends.  Sing in Spanish or English. ¡te esperamos!
College/Career Center
Juniors:  You are invited to listen to Jill Schiemann, Grand Canyon University rep, during homeroom on Tuesday, February 3. GCU is offering a free trip (including airfare) for 10 juniors to their campus in Phoenix, AZ. on Feb. 19-20. Students need a 3.0 GPA and an interest in studying one of the following majors: engineering, pre-med, nursing, computer sciences, sports management, or golf/hospitality management. Also of note: this is a Christian university. The presentation will be in the back of the Media Center. PIZZA WILL BE PROVIDED. Sign up with your homeroom teacher.

Student Opportunity:
UNK Loper Preview Day for Juniors is Monday, February 2nd.  The deadline to sign up is January 29th (or earlier - space is limited and filling up quickly!).  High school juniors can register online at http://visit.unk.edu/.  Loper Preview Day runs from 8:45 AM to 11:15 AM, with the option to dine on campus in the Nebraskan Student Union at 11:30 AM (lunch ticket - $7 per person).

Juniors & Seniors: Are you interested in visiting the campuses of Iowa Western Community College and Metropolitan Community CollegeFort Omaha?  You can do this for free on Thursday, Feb. 12. If you are passing your classes, in good standing, without excessive absences and on track to graduate, you are eligible to go. Space is limited to the first 60 students.  Doughnuts and instructions will be provided at 9:00 that morning in the Media Center.  The bus will leave RHS at 9:30 a.m. and return at 3:00 p.m.
In order to get on the list for this visit, you must bring your completed permission slip to Mrs. Barker no later than Thursday, Feb. 5.

Juniors:  Please remind your parents to attend the Junior Parent Meeting tomorrow night at 5:30 p.m. in the Theater.

Calling all students!  Our Career Speaker for January is Camille Metoyer Moten, vocalist.   All grade levels are invited to attend on Friday, January 30.   Come to the back of the Media Center during homeroom and enjoy great information  + Free PIZZA!  You must sign up  with your homeroom teacher.  Space is limited, so don't delay!
