Students:  ALL RHS Students will be able to get into tonight's basketball games at the Ralston Arena for FREE!  Tonight's theme is "Red Out"  Let all get out and support our Ram basketball players!
Juniors, you have until  TODAY, January 8, 2016 to return your John Baylor Prep Opt Out Form to the school counseling office.  All Juniors are currently enrolled for John Baylor Prep beginning February 17, 2016.  Those that do not want to participate must have the formed signed and verified.
There will be NO FCA meeting this week, the Fellowship of Christian Athletes will meet next Thursday, January 14th @7:15AM.

There will be no drop/add classes after MONDAY, January 11th.  This is an absolute deadline.
Friday, January 22nd is the final day to drop a class for a study hall without penalty.  Dropping a class will result in a drop with an F grade after Friday, January 22nd.
Last call for art projects!  All Term one and two students from Mr. Miller's art classes - Please pick up any projects left in his room by TODAY After school all leftover projects will be discarded!

The French Tutoring Center is available for students without appointment to receive homework assistance, makeup quizzes and tests, or simply review and practice their French skills. It is open every Wednesday from 3:20-4:00 p.m. in A102 starting January 13. If you are an upper-level French student (3-5) and would like to gain valuable peer-tutoring experience and earn community service hours, see Ms. Oglesby for a tutor application.

Winter/Spring Driver's Education will be from January 30th through March 12.  Registration will be Tuesday, January 12th and Wednesday January 13th from 7:00pm - 8:00pm in the RHS commons area.  Registration forms with more information are now available in the main office.
TRAVEL TO FRANCE! Join fellow Ralston French students on our 2017 trip to travel for twelve days, June 5-17, to the Loire Valley, Montpellier, and Paris. Come to our informational meeting on Thursday, January 14th from 6:00-7:30 p.m. in A102. Enrollment is open until January 31! See Madame Oglesby or Madame Henry to learn how to sign up!

INCLUCITY - It's not too late to turn in your applications for January 15-18 IncluCity camp! We have space for two female and three male students. Help us send a full delegation to camp! See Ms. Oglesby in A102 or any FAIR member for more information. IncluCity is a four-day camp to develop leadership skills and social justice awareness.

FAIR meetings will meet twice a month instead of once a week this semester. FAIR is Ralston's diversity club that promotes inclusion and social justice awareness. Email if you'd like to be on our email list for updates. Our January meetings will be Tuesday, January 19 and Monday, January 25 from 3:30-4:30pm in A102.

Post Prom Fundraiser TODAY, January 8th at TCBY on 72nd street!  Come in from 4:00pm - 10:00pm and 10% of sales will be donated to the Ralston Post Prom!
Omaha Fashion Week and Develop Model Management will be hosting a model call January 16th in search for fresh faces to walk the runway this March.
The event will be held at Westroads Mall at 2:00 pm in the Von Maur Court. Please note that this is the ONLY casting call for Omaha Fashion Week. If you are hoping to walk the runway in March, you must attend this model call.  Please see the link below for more information!
College/Career Center
Today is the regular registration deadline to register for the February 6 ACT Test.
Attention Juniors & Seniors:  Out next campus visit will be to Wayne State College onThursday, Jan. 21.  Doughnuts and instructions will be served in Lec. Room C at 7:30 a.m. with the bus leaving RHS at 8:00 and returning at 2:30.  Sign up with Mrs. Barker in Guidance.  Attendance is limited to the first 30 students who sign up and return their permission forms by Thursday, January 14.
Attention sophomores, juniors & seniors!  Our next CAREER SPEAKER will be here  onTuesday, Jan. 12, during homeroom in Lec. Room C.  Come and listen to Liz Kendall Weiser talk about her career as an Entertainment Technician. Pizza will be provided.  You must sign up with your homeroom advisor.  Only the first 50 students will be admitted.
Financial Aid Meeting for Senior Parents will be presented by Victor Garcia of EducationQuest at Ralston High School.  Victor will guide you through the ins and outs of the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) and answer your questions about financial aid for college.  Date=Wednesday, Jan. 13.  Location= RHS Lecture Room C, Time=5:30 p.m. - English speaking & 7:00 p.m. - Spanish speaking.  Those attending will also be eligible for a chance to win a $500 scholarship for your student at a Nebraska college.
GIRLS TRACK:  Preseason conditioning for girls NOT currently out for a winter sport will begin Tuesday, Jan. 12, after school.  Conditioning will be every Tuesday and Thursday until the season starts.  Meet in Coach Brockhaus' room A211 at 3:35 ready to go!  Questions?  See Coach Brockhaus.
