SPANISH CLUB Movie Night! The third Wednesday of the month is MOVIE NIGHT for Spanish Club! Bring a snack to share, relax and watch a movie in Spanish (Yes, with English subtitles!). A104 at 3:25!
Join FAIR for a respectful and thoughtful discussion group: "The N- Word: Black Culture Throughout History" co-facilitated by Mrs. Weland and FAIR members on Monday, February 22 from 3:30-4:30 p.m. in A102. If you are interested in auditioning for Show Choir next year auditions will be held in the Choir Room on Wednesday February 24th. Please see Mrs. McKain for sign up's, dance clinic information, and song choices.
RHS READERS Club will meet this Wednesday during both lunches. Our theme for this meeting is "Love is in the air. Try not to breathe." Bring your own interpretation to the meeting. Our yearbook photo is on Thursday. Wear your new book club shirt and pay attention to the announcements.
Attention Culinary Club - We will meet on Friday February 19th in F102 after school to make delicious cookies. We will meet from 3:30pm - 5:00pm. Questions? Contact Mrs. Krist. Anyone is welcome. The Ralston Girls Softball Association is having their live registration Sunday, February 21, 2016 at the Ralston Middle School Cafeteria from 1:00pm to 4:00pm (only cash and checks will be accepted at live registration). Seniors: Jostens will be here on Wednesday, March 2nd and Thursday March 3rd during all lunch shifts to deliver graduation announcements and other items that have been ordered. Please plan to stop by the table in the commons to pick up your orders. Cap and gowns will be delivered in May, not at this time.
ATTENTION FRANCE 2016 TRAVELERS: Plan for you and your parents/guardians to attend our next mandatory trip planning meeting on Tuesday, February 23rd from 6:00-7:30 p.m. in Lecture Room C. You will submit your roommate requests and review valuable travel information for our trip leaving in less than 120 days! See Madame O or Madame H with questions.
Community Service Opportunity
Ralston Middle School is looking for high school students to volunteer to help with our second annual Battle of the Books on Saturday, March 5th from 8-noon. You will receive community service for your time. Stop in the RHS Library to sign up. We need 20 students.
A representative from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona, will be in Lecture Room C
today during homeroom. Stop in and find out how to get a free visit to this school in Phoenix.
College representatives in C/C Center tomorrow: University of Nebraska-Lincoln at 9:30and University of Nebraska-Kearney at 10:30.
Attention juniors & seniors: Our campus visit to Methodist and Clarkson has been rescheduled for Thursday, March 3. You will meet in Lecture Room C at 8:00 for refreshments and instructions and board the bus at 8:30 for both campuses. The bus returns to RHS at 3:00. Sign up with Mrs. Barker in the Counseling Office. Your permission slip is due no later than Tuesday, March 3.
Service Academy and Higher Education Forum - Feb. 20 at Westside Community Conference Center, 3534 S. 108 St., Omaha, 9:00 a.m. - Noon. Events include: Service Academy Workshop, Student Aid Seminar and College Readiness Fair.
UNO Housing Showcase - Sat., Feb. 27, from 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Start your tour at the Scott Conference Center, 6450 Pine Street. No registration is required.

Physicals must be complete and a copy given to the AD office before you can try-out or practice for spring sports. Spring sports officially start on 2/29. If you have played a sport this year you should have one on file. If you need information on where to get a physical stop in to the AD office (it is next to the Ram Shack where we take debit and credit cards).
