HOSA members be sure to see Mrs. Ziegler today regarding State HOSA!  Registration is DUE next week and I want to be able to help you be prepared to register!

Over 30 students took the plunge and went on a Blind Date with a Book these last two weeks.  Congratulations to 9th grader Aiyana McGhee who won the heart-shaped box of chocolates for Valentine's Day.  
But it's not over yet!  You can still win!  This time it will be dinner for two at the Spaghetti Works.  If you are currently on a blind date with a book, your name is automatically in the drawing.  If not, check out a blind date with a book between now and the end of February.
Attention Fashion Club!  Come on Wednesday February 25th for Movie afternoon. Snacks provided.  Come and enjoy.  Bring a pillow and a blanket if you want.  Meet in room A107 after school next Wednesday. The movie should end around 5:15pm. If you have any questions, contact Mrs. Krist. 
RHS READERS Book Club will meet today, February. 20th during all three lunches.  We meet in the back of the media center.  We will discuss our Blind Dates with a Book.  Stop by and share how your date went.  See you there!

Freshman and Sophomore Class Officers are selling class t-shirts!

You can fill out an order form and return it WITH the money to the office, Miss Engel’s room (F138) or Miss Hefflinger’s room (A211). Order forms can be found from any class officer, in the office, or in Miss Engel or Miss Hefflinger's room. You must pay when you order your t-shirt. All t-shirts Small-X-large are $15.00. Sizes 2xL-5xL are $17.00. Orders will be taken until February 27th.
FAIR will meet on Monday, February 23 from 3:30-4:00p in A109. Come help us wrap up Black History Month, talk about community service opportunities, and enjoy some snacks and friendly faces!

National Honor Society will meet next week.  Current NHS members please plan on attending one of the two meetings offered.  We will be discussing the Open Store, Habitat, service learning projects and more . The meeting is in B208 onThursday at 3:30 p.m. OR Friday at 7:30 a.m. Just a reminder that NHS meetings are held the 2nd and 4th week of every month. If you are unable to attend, please contact Ms. Stark ASAP as per the attendance policy.

Ralston’s Gay-Straight Alliance (GSA) will be meeting Tuesday, in room B208 at 3:25, right after school. Please come to enjoy great activities, meeting new people, food and fun! Everyone is welcome regardless of whether you identify as GLBT or straight. This is a great club to meet new people and spread awareness and combat bullying amongst all students. Please see Ms. Stark if you have any questions

Ralston Debaters -  There is a mandatory SHORT meeting after school on Wednesday in room B208 at 3:25.  I want everyone there regardless of whether you are competing this term or not.  It will be a short meeting, but important. Also, please return your books and timers ASAP.  Thanks and I look forward to seeing you all on Wednesday. 
College/Career Center
UNO Housing Showcase - Saturday, Feb. 28.  This is your opportunity to visit any or all of UNO's 5 residence halls.  The tour starts at the Scott Conference Center located on UNO's Pacific Campus, 6450 Pine St.,  and runs from 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.  No registration is required.
Girls Tennis Meeting:
Wednesday, February 25th in Lecture Room C at 4:00pm.

Registration is taking place now for 2015 RGSA Summer Softball.  Live registration is this Sunday, Feb 22nd from 1:00pm-4:00pm in the Ralston Middle School Cafeteria or you can register online at
Boys Track: There will be a mandatory meeting for any boys interested in going out for track this Spring Wednesday,February 25th @ 3:25pm in Lecture Room C.  If you are unable to attend, you MUST contact Coach Farr!
