Juniors: John Baylor Prep continues on Monday, February 29 during 2nd period. The ACT-F group will have a live Session #3 in Lecture Room C, and the ACT group will continue with Session #4.
Seniors: Jostens will be here on Wednesday, March 2nd and Thursday March 3rd during all lunch shifts to deliver graduation announcements and other items that have been ordered. Please plan to stop by the table in the commons to pick up your orders. Cap and gowns will be delivered in May, not at this time.
HOSA members! If you are planning to go to State you MUST see Mrs. Ziegler ASAP! This is very important!
SENIORS: If you have not submitted a photo for the yearbook, please do so ASAP! Seniors who are not pictured will need to report to the back of the library on Monday and Tuesday next week to have their photo taken. See Mrs. Honz with questions.
If you are interested in trying out for Cheerleading or Dance team there will be an informational meeting on March 2nd @ 7:00 PM in Lecture Room C. Tryout week information will be handed out at this time. If you have any questions, ask Miss Engel in Room F005 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Iowa Western Community College will be hosting a Day of Latino Excellence (Dia del Exito Latino), on Thursday, March 31st. All eligible students must register online before Spring Break through IWCC website at http://www.iwcc.edu/Future_Student/visit.asp, click on the green bar labeled "sign up for a visit" then scroll down to Dia del Exito Latino and click on "Thursday, March 31" and follow prompts. Please see Mrs. Weaver for a field-trip-permission slip once registration is complete.
"Dear White People" is a movie that depicts the lives of four black students at an Ivy League college. Join F.A.I.R. to wrap up Black History Month with a viewing of this indie comedy/drama on Monday, February 29 from 3:30-5:30p in A102. Popcorn and drinks will be provided. Please contact Mrs. Weland or Ms. Oglesby if you would like to attend.

Juniors & Seniors Victor Garcia from EducationQuest will be here on Tuesday, March 1st to work with you and your parents on your FAFSA application. Please set up your appointment with Mrs. Barker in the Counseling Office.
Other dates: Tuesday, March 22 and Wednesday, April 13th.
It's not too late to sign up to help with Ralston Middle School's Battle of the Books from 8 am - noon on Saturday, March 5. We need 10 more student volunteers from RHS. You will receive 4 hours of community service . Stop by the library to sign up.
Teen Tech Week is March 6-12. To celebrate in a special way, Ralston HS has been selected as one of 30 schools nationwide to participate in a teen tech workshop on coding / webmaking. This workshop will be taught by the Geek Squad Academy from Best Buy and will be help from 3:30-4:30 on Thursday, March 10 in the Ralston HS Library. See Ms. Olsen to snag a spot. Space is limited.
Students that are applying for any of the Career Academy's will need to return your applications to the Counseling Office no later than Friday, March 4th. This is the final deadline.

Sophomores, juniors and seniors: Are you interested in finding out about all the aspects of a career in the Theater? Liz Kendall Weisser will be in the College/Career Center today at 10:00. Come down to hear her exciting life story and how you can get started in this field.
Juniors and seniors: Plan ahead: College representatives in C/C Center on Monday: Northwest Missouri State University at 8:00 and College of Saint Mary at 9:00.
Attention juniors & seniors: Our campus visit to Methodist and Clarkson has been rescheduled for Thursday, March 3. You will meet in Lecture Room C at 8:00 for refreshments and instructions and board the bus at 8:30 for both campuses. The bus returns to RHS at 3:00. Sign up with Mrs. Barker in the Counseling Office. Your permission slip is due no later than Tuesday, March 3.
Physicals must be complete and a copy given to the AD office before you can try-out or practice for spring sports. Spring sports officially start on 2/29. If you have played a sport this year you should have one on file. If you need information on where to get a physical stop in to the AD office (it is next to the Ram Shack where we take debit and credit cards).
Soccer Tryouts begin Monday, February 29th!! All girls interested in trying out must fill out the Google form sent out! If you have not received the form, please see Coach Behrens! You also must have a current physical on file with the Activities Office.
GIRLS TENNIS: Practice starts on Monday, 2/29. Meet at the tennis courts by 3:45. If you are interested in playing and have not signed up, email Mr. Siske that you want to play.
BOYS GOLF: Practice starts this coming Monday (2/29) right after school with a mandatory meeting in Coach Janssens room. You MUST have a recent physical completed to participate, hope to see you then.
GIRLS TRACK: If you missed the sign-up meeting Wednesday after school, please stop by Mrs. Brockhaus' room A211today for important information!
