Seniors:  Community Service forms are due on April 1st!  You MUST have all your community service hours completed and turned in for documentation no later than April 1st in order to participate at graduation and receive your diploma!

Just a reminder for students:  the Metro Academy and the Ralston Academy (Health Sciences, Future Teacher Internship, Culinary Skills 2 and Yearbook) Applications are due Friday, March 6th!

HOSA State registration is DUE today.  Payment won't be due until next week but if you do not turn in your registration form today you won't be going.

Try outs for the spring play, "Almost, Maine," will be held Tuesday, March 3rd & Wednesday, March 4th at 3:30 PM in the RHS theatre.  Looking for a large cast of 19 - 10 boys and 9 girls.  No advanced preparation is required.  You only need to attend one session.  Questions?? See Mr. Uhrmacher in D112.

Looking for a way to chase away the winter blues?  Consider attending the drama department's 8th annual Cake & Comedy. This event features 8 student directed one act comedies with a dessert buffet intermission. Shows run today & Saturday @ 7:30 pm and Sunday @ 2:00 pm. Cost is $10.

Freshman and Sophomore Class Officers are selling class t-shirts!
You can fill out an order form and return it WITH the money to the office, Miss Engel’s room (F138) or Miss Hefflinger’s room (A211). Order forms can be found from any class officer, in the office, or in Miss Engel or Miss Hefflinger's room. You must pay when you order your t-shirt. All t-shirts Small-X-large are $15.00. Sizes 2xL-5xL are $17.00. Orders will be taken until February 27th.
The next Spanish club meeting will be Wednesday, March 4th after school in A102.  We will be cooking traditional recipes and voting on who made it best!

Anyone interested in trying out for Ralston Dance must pick up and fill out a packet found in the office. Try out clinics are March 9-11 from 4:30-6:00 OR 6:00-7:30 at Ralston High School. Try outs will be on March 12 at 4:30p.m. at Wildewood Elementary. If you have questions, please contact Kim Wheeler at

  If you are interested in being the senior class representative who will speak at graduation, please sign up with Ms. Rowley in B220 or Mrs. Honz in B206 by Friday, March 6. 

Attention Kind-Hearted Students!  Do you want to help others? Do you need community service hours?  Do you love making a difference?  If so, it is that time of year again.  The Open Store will take place on Friday, March 27 & Saturday, March 28. You will leave the school in the morning and return by the end of the school day. I am limiting this opportunity to the first 50 students who turn in a permission slip.  Please come to a mandatory informative meeting in room B208 today during Homeroom. Please email Ms. Stark with any questions.

National Honor Society will meet this week.  Current NHS members please plan on attending one of the two meetings offered.  We will be discussing the Open Store, Habitat, service learning projects and more . The meeting is in B208today at 3:30 p.m. OR Friday at 7:30 a.m. Just a reminder that NHS meetings are held the 2nd and 4th week of every month. If you are unable to attend, please contact Ms. Stark ASAP as per the attendance policy.

Community Service Opportunity
Meadows Elementary is looking for students interested in earning service hours to help at its Books and Bingo Night Thursday, March 12 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. If anyone is interested in volunteering that evening, please contact me, Dawn Beacom, through email at or my phone at 402-440-4797.

GIRLS TRACK:  The first day of practice is Monday, March 2!!!  If you did not make it to the sign-up meeting Wednesday, please see Mrs. Brockhaus in room A211 TODAY.
BOYS GOLFERS: there will be a mandatory golf meeting in Coach Kosch's room A119 on Monday March 2nd right after school, practice starts after the meeting. Get your physicals done before then as well. Hope to see many of you there. 

IMPORTANT!!  GIRLS soccer will begin tryouts on Monday (3/2) morning @ 5:45AM before school in the gym!  This is a mandatory tryout for anyone going out for soccer.  Make sure to wear tennis shoes and have a current physical on file with the athletic office!  See Coach Behrens with questions.
