Juniors:  John Baylor Prep continues today, February 29 during 2nd period.  The ACT-F group will have a live Session #3 in Lecture Room C, and the ACT group will continue with Session #4.  

The next State DECA study session is tonightMonday, Feb. 29th at 6:30 p.m. in Room A120.  Prepare for role play with a judge and a written.  Please be on time!
Seniors:  Jostens will be here on Wednesday, March 2nd and Thursday March 3rd during all lunch shifts to deliver graduation announcements and other items that have been ordered.  Please plan to stop by the table in the commons to pick up your orders.  Cap and gowns will be delivered in May, not at this time.

SENIORS:  Check the fliers around school about yearbook photos.  If your name is listed, we still need a photo from you.  Come to the back of the library TODAY or Tuesday to have your photo taken.  See Mrs. Honz in B206 with questions.
If you are interested in trying out for Cheerleading or Dance team there will be an informational meeting on March 2nd @ 7:00 PM in Lecture Room C. Tryout week information will be handed out at this time. If you have any questions, ask Miss Engel in Room F005 or email jordan.engel@ralstonschools.org

Teen Tech Week is March 6-12.  To celebrate in a special way, Ralston HS has been selected as one of 30 schools nationwide to participate in a teen tech workshop on coding / webmaking.  This workshop will be taught by the Geek Squad Academy from Best Buy and will be help from 3:30-4:30 on Thursday, March 10 in the Ralston HS Library.  See Ms. Olsen to snag a spot.  Space is limited.

RHS READERS Book Club will meet this Wednesday, March 3rd during both lunches.  Come chat about what you are reading, get first pick of some new titles, and hear about our March activity.  See you there!

It's not too late to sign up to help with Ralston Middle School's Battle of the Books from 8 am - noon this Saturday, March 5.  There are a couple more slots for student volunteers from RHS. You will receive 4 hours of community service .  Stop by the library to sign up.

Iowa Western Community College will be hosting a Day of Latino Excellence (Dia del Exito Latino), on Thursday, March 31st. All eligible students must register online before Spring Break through IWCC website at http://www.iwcc.edu/Future_Student/visit.asp, click on the green bar labeled "sign up for a visit" then scroll down to Dia del Exito Latino and click on "Thursday, March 31" and follow prompts.  Please see Mrs. Weaver for a field-trip-permission slip once registration is complete.
"Dear White People" is a movie that depicts the lives of four black students at an Ivy League college. Join F.A.I.R. to wrap up Black History Month with a viewing of this indie comedy/drama today, February 29 from 3:30-5:30p in A102. Popcorn and drinks will be provided. Please contact Mrs. Weland or Ms. Oglesby if you would like to attend.

Victor Garcia from EducationQuest will be here on Tuesday, March 1st to work with you and your parents on your FAFSA application.  Please set up your appointment with Mrs. Barker in the Counseling Office.

ITT TECH NURSING PROGRAM -We invite you to attend our exclusive ITT Tech, Breckinridge School of Nursing Clinic in partnership with the Mid America Council’s Career Exploring Program. This program is only open to 25 students in the 11th and 12th grades. All students will be introduced to both classroom theory as well as clinical components. The purpose of the clinic is to expose students to the real world opportunities available by choosing this as a career. You will become aware of:  O/B Labor & Delivery Assessment & Newborn & Pediatric Assessment.  This program will have two class dates: Tuesday, March 8th and Thursday March 10th from 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm. Athletics/Activities
Soccer Tryouts begin TODAY, February 29th!!  All girls interested in trying out must fill out the Google form sent out!  If you have not received the form, please see Coach Behrens!  You also must have a current physical on file with the Activities Office.
GIRLS TENNIS:  Practice starts TODAY, 2/29.  Meet at the tennis courts by 3:45.  If you are interested in playing and have not signed up, email Mr. Siske that you want to play.
BOYS GOLF: Practice starts today (2/29) right after school with a mandatory meeting in Coach Janssens room. You MUST have a recent physical completed to participate, hope to see you then.
