Hey, I just met you, and this is crazy, but I'm a novel, so read me maybe!
Stop in to the media center for a Blind Date with a Book.  Try it and you could win a heart-shaped box of chocolates.

Community Service Opportunity:
Interested students can receive up to 5 hours of community service on March 7th when Ralston Middle School hosts our first annual district Battle of the Books.  High school students are needed to be timekeepers for the four rounds of competition from 8:00-noon on March 7th.  We will need at least 10  students from RHS.  If you would like to participate, stop by the RHS Media Center and sign up with Ms. Olsen.
Volunteer Opportunity with the Girl Scouts
The Girl Scouts Spirit of Nebraska is hosting World Thinking Day, an event that teaches girls about different cultures, at Ralston High School on Saturday, February 21st. Volunteers are needed to help run activity stations and hand out international snacks! Because of the large number of expected participants, the event will be broken up into a morning session and an afternoon session. Students can volunteer to help with the morning session (8:00 to 12:15), the afternoon session (12:15 to 4:30), or both sessions (8:00-4:30).
