Students that are applying for any of the Career Academy's
 will need to return your applications to the Counseling Office no later than Friday, March 4th.  This is the final deadline.

Future Teacher Internship
Culinary Skills
Yearbook

Please note:  Beginning Thursday, March 3rd traditional breakfast will no longer be served in the Ralston High School Lunchroom!  We will now offer a late start breakfast in the classroom/hallways.  Breakfast will be set up in the halls in a "grab and go" format, beginning around 9:25am on  Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and 10:05am on Wednesday mornings.
Breakfast costs $2.50, and reduced breakfast is 30 cents.
To give everyone the opportunity to try the new late start breakfast - breakfast will be FREE for ALL students on Thursday, March 3rd and Friday, March 4th!

Seniors:  Jostens will be here TODAY, March 2nd and Thursday March 3rd during all lunch shifts to deliver graduation announcements and other items that have been ordered.  Please plan to stop by the table in the commons to pick up your orders.  Cap and gowns will be delivered in May, not at this time.

If you are interested in trying out for Cheerleading or Dance team there will be an informational meeting todayMarch 2nd @ 7:00 PM in Lecture Room C. Tryout week information will be handed out at this time. If you have any questions, ask Miss Engel in Room F005 or email jordan.engel@ralstonschools.org

Teen Tech Week is March 6-12.  To celebrate in a special way, Ralston HS has been selected as one of 30 schools nationwide to participate in a teen tech workshop on coding / webmaking.  This workshop will be taught by the Geek Squad Academy from Best Buy and will be help from 3:30-4:30 on Thursday, March 10 in the Ralston HS Library.  See Ms. Olsen to snag a spot.  Space is limited.

Attention Fashion Club. We will meet on Friday to continue working on crazy quilt squares.  Not sure what this is? Well come to A107 from 3:30pm - 5:00pm Friday to find out.  Questions?  Ask Mrs. Krist. 

Spanish Club will be meeting todayWednesday, March 2 in A104!  We will be celebrating Benito Juarez's birthday as they do in Mexico (without the day off!) Join us to find out why and have some birthday cake and play some games!   

RHS READERS Book Club will meet today, March 2nd during both lunches.  Come chat about what you are reading, get first pick of some new titles, and hear about our March activity.  See you there!

It's not too late to sign up to help with Ralston Middle School's Battle of the Books from 8 am - noon this Saturday, March 5.  There are a couple more slots for student volunteers from RHS. You will receive 4 hours of community service .  Stop by the library to sign up.

Iowa Western Community College will be hosting a Day of Latino Excellence (Dia del Exito Latino), on Thursday, March 31st. All eligible students must register online before Spring Break through IWCC website at http://www.iwcc.edu/Future_Student/visit.asp, click on the green bar labeled "sign up for a visit" then scroll down to Dia del Exito Latino and click on "Thursday, March 31" and follow prompts.  Please see Mrs. Weaver for a field-trip-permission slip once registration is complete.

Seniors:  Booster Club scholarship applications are due to Mrs. Balus today.
Attention sophomores, juniors & seniors:  Get ready to sign up for our next career speaker.  Jennifer Jones, from the Gallup Organization, will be in Lecture Room C onTuesday, March 8, during homeroom.   Ms. Jones will tell you what it's like to be a job recruiter at a premier company and give you tips for your own job interviews. Pizza will be provided.  Sign up with your homeroom teacher.
A Nebraska National Guard representative will be in the cafeteria today during lunch.
College rep in C/C Center tomorrow:  Concordia University at 9:00.
