Spanish Club will be having their monthly afternoon at the movies Wednesday, April 6 at 3:30! We will be watching the movie "GLUP" (yes- GLUP) which comes highly recommended by Sra. Honke. Bring a snack to share to A104, relax and join us for some fun in Spanish!
This Saturday is our in-store Book Fair at Oakview Barnes & Noble. You can shop anytime on Saturday at the store, or after Saturday online with the book fair code 11829538. Students from any of the Ralston Public Schools who come to the store on Saturday can register to win gift cards, books, and other prizes Come see the final 2015-16 performance of Rush, our varsity show choir from 2-3 pm.
Ms. Olsen is looking for students who want community service hours to help at the book fair on Saturday. You must have your own transportation to and from Barnes & Noble by Oakview Mall. Stop in the library for details.
Attention Culinary Club: Our meeting on Friday April 1st will be from 3:30pm - 5:00pm. Come learn cake decorating techniques from our very own Mr. Uhrmacher in F102. No April Fools here. You MUST RSVP to Mrs. Krist by Wednesday the 30th. After that, it is a first come first served basis until lab is full. If you have already told me you are coming then you are on the list. Ralston High School will celebrate National Autism Day on April 4th. Please wear BLUE on the 4th! Staff will be allowed to wear jeans with a blue shirt in support. Students will be given a toostie roll when entering the school for their blue!
The “Tabs for Abs” collection cups are now available in homeroom. “Tabs for Abs” collects aluminum can tabs in memory of Abbey Rotert, who lost her battle to a rare disease two years ago. The tabs are recycled with the money donated to The Ronald McDonald House in her memory. The tabs will be collected during Thursday homerooms through May 4th, with weekly totals announced on Friday. Each week the homeroom with the most tabs donated will receive doughnuts. Donations larger than the collection cups can be dropped off in Room A217.
Join FAIR on Monday, April 4 from 3:30-4:00p in A102 to prepare for Mix It Up Day! We will create conversation prompts and sign up for facilitator shifts for all lunch periods for our second Mix It Up event on Monday, April 11. See you there!
Registration for Summer Driver's Education will be Tuesday and Wednesday, May 10th & 11th from 7:00pm - 8:00pm in the RHS Commons. Class will be from June 6th through the 17th. Registration forms with more information are now available in the main office.
All Seniors are expected to participate in a Job Shadow Experience on April 19th from 8:00am - 12:00pm. Your homeroom teacher has all of the information and due dates for the packet. If you do not have a homeroom teacher, talk to your counselor about the expectations and pick up your packet. A shortened class schedule will be run from 1:00pm - 3:17pm.

Angels of America’s Fallen, a charity that serves children of fallen military and first responders (aoafallen.org) has partnered with the Lantern Fest to be the recipient charity for their upcoming event being held at the Raceway Park of the Midlands in Pacific Junction on Saturday, April 9th. They are looking for volunteers to help with the event.
