Students that are applying for any of the Career Academy's
 will need to return your applications to the Counseling Office no later than Friday, March 4th.  This is the final deadline.
This includes:  
All Metropolitan Community College Programs
All Internal Programs:
Health Sciences/Medical Academy
Future Teacher Internship
Culinary Skills

Please note:  Beginning TODAYThursday, March 3rd we will now offer a late start breakfast in the classroom/hallways.  Breakfast will be set up in the halls in a "grab and go" format, beginning around 9:25am on  Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and 10:05am on Wednesday mornings.
Breakfast costs $2.50, and reduced breakfast is 30 cents.
To give everyone the opportunity to try the new late start breakfast - this breakfast will be FREE for ALL students Today and Friday, March 4th!

Seniors:  Jostens will be here TODAY, during all lunch shifts to deliver graduation announcements and other items that have been ordered.  Please plan to stop by the table in the commons to pick up your orders.  Cap and gowns will be delivered in May, not at this time.
Teen Tech Week is March 6-12.  To celebrate in a special way, Ralston HS has been selected as one of 30 schools nationwide to participate in a teen tech workshop on coding / webmaking.  This workshop will be taught by the Geek Squad Academy from Best Buy and will be help from 3:30-4:30 on Thursday, March 10 in the Ralston HS Library.  See Ms. Olsen to snag a spot.  Space is limited.

Attention Fashion Club. We will meet on Friday to continue working on crazy quilt squares.  Not sure what this is? Well come to A107 from 3:30pm - 5:00pm Friday to find out.  Questions?  Ask Mrs. Krist. 
Iowa Western Community College will be hosting a Day of Latino Excellence (Dia del Exito Latino), on Thursday, March 31st. All eligible students must register online before Spring Break through IWCC website at, click on the green bar labeled "sign up for a visit" then scroll down to Dia del Exito Latino and click on "Thursday, March 31" and follow prompts.  Please see Mrs. Weaver for a field-trip-permission slip once registration is complete.

Community Service Opportunity
Meadows Elementary needs help at their Literacy/Science Night  on Thursday, March 10 from 5:30 - 7:00 p.m.  If interested please email Lisa Schroeder at:  Please remember to bring your community service paperwork that night for a signature.

College/Career Center
College rep in C/C Center today:  Concordia University at 9:00.
An Army representative will be in the cafeteria today during lunch.
Attention seniors:  Please be aware of a new scholarship that has just been added to Naviance, the Reid Adler Memorial scholarship, due March 31.  Log into Naviance to find it and to apply for the other numerous scholarships that are still available.

Plan to attend the College Fair sponsored by EducationQuest on Sunday, March 20, at UNO's Sapp Fieldhouse from 1-3 p.m.   To avoid filling out numerous info cards for colleges, register for a barcode at  Colleges represented include Nebraska schools, as well as those from numerous states throughout the U.S.  Use this unique opportunity to help you make a decision about your educational future. Students should visit to get a barcode. If you are interested in attending and need transportation, sign up with Mrs. Barker in the Counseling office by Wednesday, March 9.
