It's not to late to sign up for the Ralston Girls Softball Association recreation league. This league is fun and gives you the chance to make new life long friends. Even if you have never played before but want to start something new we have a spot open just for you. Please visit rgsa.org for more information by March 15, 2016.
If you are interested in trying out for Cheerleading or Dance team and could not make it to the tryout meeting there are packets in the office or in Room F005. Tryout week will be March 7th-11th at the High School. If you have any questions, ask Miss Engel in Room F005 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.

Do you get stressed out during finals? Wouldn't it be nice to relax before finals? Look no further! RHS senior Michael Davidson, F.A.I.R., NHS and Student Council have the solution! During homeroom, donate your spare dollars and coins to the Make A Wish Foundation. Your homeroom could win free time in a bounce house on Thursday, March 10th and donuts on Friday, March 11th! Iowa Western Community College will be hosting a Day of Latino Excellence (Dia del Exito Latino), on Thursday, March 31st. All eligible students must register online before Spring Break through IWCC website at http://www.iwcc.edu/Future_Student/visit.asp, click on the green bar labeled "sign up for a visit" then scroll down to Dia del Exito Latino and click on "Thursday, March 31" and follow prompts. Please see Mrs. Weaver for a field-trip-permission slip once registration is complete.
Community Service Opportunity
Meadows Elementary needs help at their Literacy/Science Night on Thursday, March 10 from 5:30 - 7:00 p.m. If interested please email Lisa Schroeder at: email@example.com. Please remember to bring your community service paperwork that night for a signature.

Attention sophomores, juniors & seniors: Get ready to sign up for our next career speaker. Jennifer Jones, from the Gallup Organization, will be in Lecture Room C onTuesday, March 8, during homeroom. Ms. Jones will tell you what it's like to be a job recruiter at a premier company and give you tips for your own job interviews. Pizza will be provided. Sign up with your homeroom teacher.
Plan to attend the College Fair sponsored by EducationQuest on Sunday, March 20, at UNO's Sapp Fieldhouse from 1-3 p.m. To avoid filling out numerous info cards for colleges, register for a barcode at NebraskaCollegeFairs.org. Colleges represented include Nebraska schools, as well as those from numerous states throughout the U.S. Use this unique opportunity to help you make a decision about your educational future. Students should visit http://www.nebraskacollegefairs.org to get a barcode. If you are interested in attending and need transportation, sign up with Mrs. Barker in the Counseling office by Wednesday, March 9.
Attention seniors: Please be aware of a new scholarship that has just been added to Naviance, the Reid Adler Memorial scholarship, due March 31. Log into Naviance to find it and to apply for the other numerous scholarships that are still available.
