Juniors:  Reminder - John Baylor Prep will be today during 5th period, ACT group meet in the theatre, and ACT-F group meet in Lecture Room C and will be a live session.

HOSA members:  If you are interested in being part of the Ralston HOSA officer team, stop by Mrs. Ziegler's room (G120) TOMORROWTuesday and pick up a packet of information.  An officer will be there to answer questions.  Next week on Tuesday we will have elections.
The Ralston High School Summer Program information and schedule is available now in the main office.  Please see the counseling center for any questions regarding registration.

The theme for National Library Week, April 10-16, is Libraries Transform! To celebrate, Ralston HS Library is sponsoring a BOOKFACE photo contest. Replace your face with a book's cover, then snap a picture. Stop by the library for details, or check out the Ralston HS Library Facebook page for examples and instructions.  We've got some sweet prizes!  They are:

Alert!!  Junior and Seniors
Victor Garcia from Educationquest will be in the HS on Wednesday, April 13th, 8:00 am- 3:30 pm, to help you and your parents with the FAFSA forms.  Please contact Mrs. Barker in the Counseling Office to schedule your appointment.  If you need more immediate assistance, please contact Victor at the Rockbrook office, # 402-391-4033.

French Club Shirts are in!! If you ordered French Club gear, please see Mme Henry in A101 to pick up your order.
If you missed out and are jealous of your friends with their sweet Tees and sweats, Mme Henry will put in ONE LAST ORDER on Thursday April 14th. See her for an order form and don't miss your chance to get in on the coolest slogan that French Club has ever rocked! 
 
SENIORS:  If you ordered a senior class T-shirt, please stop by Ms. Rowley's room (B220) to pick up your shirt.  If you did not order a shirt but would like to, we can do a reorder if we have at least 12 seniors interested in ordering a shirt.  See Ms. Rowley if you want to order a shirt.

SENIORS:  Turn in your reservations and payment for the Senior Banquet by the end of the day Wednesday.  Your HR teacher has reservations forms.  See Mrs. Honz in B206 or Ms. Rowley in B220 if you have any questions.   You must make a reservation if you plan to attend the banquet.

SENIORS:  If you would like to be the class representative speaker at graduation, you must sign up with either Mrs. Honz in B206 or Ms. Rowley in B220 by the end of the day Thursday.  Next week in HR, seniors will vote on their choice for speaker.

9th & 10th grade students get your class t-shirts ordered by April 18th.   Please turn in your order form to your homeroom teacher or Mrs. Prochaska.    
Seniors:  Sign up sheets are now available in the main office for Prom Court!  You must be in at least 2 activities, and list them on the sign up sheet!  You have until Wednesday, April 13th to sign up!

Outside Date forms for Prom are now available in the main office.  Prom is April 23rd, the forms are to be completed and returned to the office by Thursday, April 21st!

F.A.I.R. is hosting Mix It Up Day at lunch all three periods today, April 11 in the auxiliary cafeteria. Come meet and mingle with new and old Ralston friends and staff!
The “Tabs for Abs” collection cups are now available in homeroom.   “Tabs for Abs” collects aluminum can tabs in memory of Abbey Rotert, who lost her battle to a rare disease two years ago.  The tabs are recycled with the money donated to The Ronald McDonald House in her memory.  The tabs will be collected during Thursday homerooms through May 4th, with weekly totals announced on Friday. Each week the homeroom with the most tabs donated will receive doughnuts.  Donations larger than the collection cups can be dropped off in Room A217.  
Registration for Summer Driver's Education will be Tuesday and Wednesday, May 10th & 11th from 7:00pm - 8:00pm in the RHS Commons.  Class will be from June 6th through the 17th.  Registration forms with more information are now available in the main office.

All Seniors are expected to participate in a Job Shadow Experience on April 19th from 8:00am - 12:00pm.  Your homeroom teacher has all of the information and due dates for the packet.  If you do not have a homeroom teacher, talk to your counselor about the expectations and pick up your packet.  A shortened class schedule will be run from 1:00pm - 3:17pm.

The Ralston Gender-Sexualities Alliance will be meeting on Thursday, April 14th to discuss the Day of Silence and other summer opportunities.

Community Service Opportunity
The Ralston Fire Department is having a fundraiser on April 17th from 1:00pm - 4:00pm.  They will need volunteers to help with the event.  If you are interested please call Christine at 402-331-5369.

College/Career Center

Seniors!! Where are  your scholarship reporting forms?  It's important that all of you are recognized for your hard work.  These forms were mailed to your homes and also attached to an email sent to you through Naviance.  Extra copies are available in C/C Center.  They are due to me on Thursday, April 14.  Mrs. Balus

Students of all ages!  Are you looking for something fun, rewarding and challenging to do this summer?  Check out all the brochures for summer opportunities in the College/Career Center.  There is a wide range of activities, including Study Abroad programs fromspiabroad.com.  This is only 1 of the many ways you can find something to do over the summer.

Students interested in wrestling in "freestyle" and/or "greco" wrestling style please see Coach Thoene BEFORE 1st period this week.  There is an upcoming tournament on April 16th (you must register for it by the 15th) and you MUST see Coach Thoene before registering.
