NeSA Testing Day Two - Juniors, 1st & 2nd Period
Due to testing, the media center will be closed to students during 1st and 2nd periods today.
The media center will close at 3:17 today.  The computer lab will be open.

Seniors:  Community Service forms are due TODAY, April 1st!  You MUST have all your community service hours completed and turned in for documentation no later than today in order to participate at graduation and receive your diploma!

Dress Code
Students are reminded as the weather warms up, that the dress code will be enforced.  Shorts and skirts should be fingertip length and shirts with spaghetti straps, tank tops,  or those which are strapless, halters, low cut, or expose mid-riff or undergarments are not acceptable.  Please refer to your student handbook for any questions.
Students and parents, we appreciate your help in this matter.

For anyone signed up for Culinary II next year, the application Mrs. Krist gave you last week needs to be turned in ASAPto Dr. Welte.  If you have any problems, please contact Mrs. Krist. 
Seniors if you did not pick up your announcements when Jostens was here they are in the main office.  You can stop in before or after school or in between classes to pick them up.

Attention Culinary Club.  Come watch Ratatouille next Wednesday April 8th from 3:25 - 5:30 pm in A107.  Snacks will be provided.  Talk to Mrs. Krist if you have any questions.  As Chef Gusteau says, "What I say is true - anyone can cook... but only the fearless can be great."
Attention Key Club Members, or any students who need service hours.  Key Club will be meeting Thursday after school to plan out the end of the year.  Come join us for a chance to help others and earn your service hours.  We meet in D152 right after school on Thursday.

El club de español is meeting today April first.  Come for food and fun.  Also this is you last call for t-shirt orders!!
RHS READERS Book Club is ordering t-shirts.  They are only $8.00.  Stop by the media center and pick up an order form.  You have until April 10th.

Seniors:  If you are interested in signing up for Prom King or Queen sign up sheets are now in the Main office!  Please sign up by this Thursday.  You must be in good standing academically and participate in at least 2 extracurricular activities.
Stop in to the media center and take a look at the awesome basket jam-packed with books, fun stuff, and candy.  You could win it by writing a short book review for a book that you have read.  Click on the Google form to submit your review.  Every book review submitted means getting your name entered to win the basket.

April 2, 2015 is National Autism Awareness Day.  Please wear blue this day to show your support!

Are you interested in earning some community service hours this summer? Baright Public Library is taking applications of those students interested in helping with the Summer Reading Program (which begins June 8th). If you would like to earn community service hours this summer, stop by the media center and fill out an application today!

Outside Date forms for Prom are now available in the Main Office.  These forms must be turned into the office by Thursday, April 16th.

Registration for the Summer session of Driver's Education will be May 5th and 6th from 7:00pm - 8:00pm in the commons area.  Registration forms with more information are now available in the main office.

College/Career Center
College rep in C/C Center today:  Midland University at 9:00.
An Air Force representative will be in the cafeteria today during lunch.
Seniors:  Cathy Grondek Memorial scholarship applications are due to Mrs. Balus tomorrow.  If I am not at my desk, please leave the application with Mrs. Barker.
Seniors:  Check out the just-added Ralston Optimist scholarship in Naviance.

First State Bank has a full-time opening at both their 72nd & Main and 119th and Pacific locations.  They are looking for individuals who are dependable, motivated, outgoing, eager to learn and have math skills. The hours are Pacific-8-5 M-F and 9-12 Saturday(2 to 3 Saturdays a month)  Ralston-8-5 or 9-6 some days and 8-12 or 9-12 on Saturday (2 to 3 Saturdays a month) If you work a Saturday, then you have an afternoon off that week.
