Attention Key Club Members:  Due to muddy conditions, the park clean up scheduled for today will be moved to next Thursday.
Outside Date forms for Prom are now available in the main office.  Prom is April 23rd, the forms are to be completed and returned to the office by TODAY, April 21st!

Prom tickets are on sale now!!  Tickets are $20 each and may be purchased during lunch or after school in room D112.

The Ralston High School Summer Program information and schedule is available now in the main office.  Please see the counseling center for any questions regarding registration.

The Ralston GSA will be observing the National Day of Silence tomorrow, Friday, April 22nd. Certain students have chosen to participate in order to bring awareness to the issue of LGBTQ+ bullying in schools. If you'd like to learn more about GSA, the Day of Silence, or LGBTQ+ issues, please ask a GSA member on another day or see Mr. Garst.

SENIORS:  TODAY is the last day to vote on the senior representative who will speak at graduation.  If you no longer attend HR, you need to see your HR teacher TODAY to get a ballot, vote, and immediately return the ballot to your HR teacher.

Reminder to students that are in Teammates, please turn in your permission forms for the zoo trip to Ms. Morgan or Mrs. Maly ASAP.

Wanted! Fearless students. An informational meeting about Speech, Debate, and Slam Poetry will be held during homeroom TODAY, April 21st in Lecture Room C. Starting at 1:14, come to experience an informative and entertaining meeting. Coaches will present briefly, and students will perform. Attendance will be taken at the door and you must stay for the entire performance.  See Mrs. Adair, Mr. Garst, or Mr. Lacey for more details!
The Swimming Competency test will be administered on the following dates:  Thursday, April 28th or Thursday, May 5th both at 6:30 AM.  Students should plan on a minimum of 1 hour for testing.  This is a very comprehensive test and absolutely no instruction will be given prior to or during the test.
Students MUST pre-register for a test session by calling RHS at 402-331-7373, and sessions are limited to the first 12 students to call.  Reminder: passing this test only waives the swimming classification for graduation, it DOES NOT award any credits, the 2.5 credits must be completed in another PE course.  If you have any questions please see Mr. Hartfield.
Ralston HOSA/Health Sciences is hosting a blood drive Friday May 6th in the gym.  If you haven't already signed up please see Mrs. Ziegler in room G120 or talk to HOSA/Health Science students!  Remember, if you are 16 you will need to have a parent permission form signed and turned in before the day of the blood drive.  
RESPECT is seeking a young female actor-educator to fill out our company. We will be holding auditions on Monday andTuesday evenings, May 16th and 17th
 from 7-9pm at the Barbara Weitz Community Engagement Center on the UNO campus.The auditions will consist of cold readings from the script and a short interview. The “Tabs for Abs” collection cups are now available in homeroom.   “Tabs for Abs” collects aluminum can tabs in memory of Abbey Rotert, who lost her battle to a rare disease two years ago.  The tabs are recycled with the money donated to The Ronald McDonald House in her memory.  The tabs will be collected during Thursday homerooms through May 4th, with weekly totals announced on Friday. Each week the homeroom with the most tabs donated will receive doughnuts.  Donations larger than the collection cups can be dropped off in Room A217.  
Registration for Summer Driver's Education will be Tuesday and Wednesday, May 10th & 11th from 7:00pm - 8:00pm in the RHS Commons.  Class will be from June 6th through the 17th.  Registration forms with more information are now available in the main office.
College/Career Center
Seniors:  I am still accepting Scholarship Reporting Forms.  Turn them in to me A.S.A.P.!!!  Remember:  If you receive scholarships after you've turned your form in, you can still report those new scholarships.  You need over $4 million dollars in scholarship and grant $ to catch last year's seniors.  Look at the chart in the College/Career Center's window.  Mrs. Balus

If you are a freshman and interested in a career as a nurse, this program is for you!  The University of Nebraska Medical Center is hosting a Vitals Summer Day Camp on June 21 & 22 at UNMC's College of Nursing.  You will visit a healthcare facility, interact with UNMC staff, faculty, students and more!  20 students will be selected to attend.  Applications are available from Mrs. Balus in C/C Center and is due to UNMC by Friday, April 29, so don't delay!!
Summer Opportunity:
Silicon Valley Start-up:  Flippy ( is a super fast growing new app that lets you become the star of famous clips They are running an 8-week marketing internship (Jun 13 - Aug 5) that students can participate in remotely, with live video chat lessons and checkins. You would get real world marketing experience and learn things like Viral strategy, Influencer programs, Content marketing, Network retargeting, etc. They would get help growing their brand, and learn from your product feedback. Should take only a few hours/week. Seems like a win-win!  If you're interested: 1. Download Flippy and play with the app to see if you like it. 2. Click ( and fill out the application form. 
3. You should hear from them within a week or so.
If you are a senior athlete who has been out for three sports for all four years please visit the Activities Director's office and let Mr. Smith or Ms. Mackey know.  This needs to be done ASAP.
