End-of-year due dates for library books are May 1st for Seniors; May 15th for grades 9-11.

Important for students taking the AP TESTS:  Your money is DUE NOW !! 
Please see Mrs. Barker in the Counseling office to pay by check to the Ralston HS or cash, with the exact amount. 
AP Tests begin on Monday, May 4th.

Attention Key Club members and anyone in need of community service hours. Key Club will be hosting a park clean up this Thursday after school.  Come earn a couple of hours of service and make Ralston a better place!  Meet in rom D152 right after school on Thursday.
Summer School information is now available in the main office as well as in the counseling department.

LATINO LEADERSHIP COUNCIL & SPANISH CLUB: Students who will be participating in the Cinco de Mayo Parade, please meet in Media Center on Wednesday, April 29th, at 3:30 for a short meeting.

Seniors:  Jack Martin Photography will take photos of everyone receiving their diplomas at graduation.  Order forms will be mailed out to the address the high school has on file.  If you would like to pre-order, order forms are available in the main office.  These must be turned in to Mrs. Lewis by May 15th with payment.

Attention Culinary Club:  Please read your email for our next meeting on the 11th of May.  Please check your calendar and respond to Mrs. Krist with whether you can attend or not.  

Seniors:  Please check the list of names hanging on the Media Center windows.  If your name is on there, you have items to return or fines to pay to the RHS Media Center before you can pick up your cap and gown.  Any questions, please stop in and see Ms. Olsen.

The spring Blood Drive will be May 1st!  HOSA members and Health Science students are recruiting now.  If you are 16 and planning to donate you will need a parent consent form.  See Mrs. Ziegler in G120 if you have questions.
   Blood Drive clarification - if you are 16 and have picked up a 16 year old consent form you also need to sign up for the blood drive.  You can pick a time (sign up) with a HOSA/Med Science student or with Mrs. Ziegler in room G120.

Are you interested in earning some community service hours this summer? Baright Public Library is taking applications of those students interested in helping with the Summer Reading Program (which begins June 8th). If you would like to earn community service hours this summer, stop by the media center and fill out an application today!

Penny War!  We are continuing to count!  The winner will be announced this week.  There is pasta in the future for one of our homerooms!!

Become a Student Athletic Trainer this fall! 
Be involved in RHS athletics, earn service hours, learn about a medical profession, have fun, and meet new people. Must be able to commit to working a regular schedule. Students will mainly be working with football, and therefore must be available after school and Friday nights. Duties will include basic taping and wound care, practice/event preparation, and attending RHS practices and events as scheduled. 
If interested email Co Schneider at no later than May 15th. In your email, please include why you are interested in this opportunity and any schedule conflicts you might have.Those students selected to participate during the fall season will be notified by Co by the end of the school year. 
Registration for the Summer session of Driver's Education will be May 5th and 6th from 7:00pm - 8:00pm in the commons area.  Registration forms with more information are now available in the main office.

Job Opportunity
Select Van/Mayflower needs a summer office worker. Duties include filing, filling out paperwork and answering the phone.  Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.  Pay=$8 per hr.
Hours can be flexible.  Warehouse workers are also needed.  Heavy lifting involved + good customer service skills.  Pay = $10 per hr.   If interested in either position, send your resume to:
There will be a meeting for all boys planning on going out for boys basketball in Coach Jackson's room (B122) on Friday May 1st at 7:45am.   Please contact Coach Jackson if you won't be able to attend.  

There will be an informational meeting for any girl and her parents interested in participating in volleyball next year on Monday, May 4 at 5:30 in Lecture Room C. You will meet the new coaching staff, get a conditioning schedule for this summer, and develop the core covenants for the volleyball program. Any questions (or if you are interested in playing but cannot attend the meeting), please see Coach Lindeman.
