The Ralston High School Summer Program information and schedule is available now in the main office.  Please see the counseling center for any questions regarding registration.

The theme for National Library Week, April 10-16, is Libraries Transform! To celebrate, Ralston HS Library is sponsoring a BOOKFACE photo contest. Replace your face with a book's cover, then snap a picture. Stop by the library for details, or check out the Ralston HS Library Facebook page for examples and instructions.  We've got some sweet prizes!  They are:

Victor Garcia from Educationquest will be in the HS on Wednesday, April 18th, 8:00 am- 3:30 pm, to help you and your parents with the FAFSA forms.  Please contact Mrs. Barker in the Counseling Office to schedule your appointment.  If you need more immediate assistance, please contact Victor at the Rockbrook office, # 402-391-4033.
RHS READERS Club will meet today, April 6th during both lunches in the back of the media center.  We will talk about what we're currently reading and make plans for our Capture the Flag activity on April 19th.  See you there!
If you missed our Ralston High School Book Fair at Barnes & Noble last Saturday, do not despair!  You can still contribute by logging on to and entering Book Fair ID 11829538 now until April 7th.  Thanks for helping to make our Book Fair a great success and adding books and other fun stuff to the RHS Library!

Bilingual Spanish students who are participating in the service learning project with the Juan Diego Center on Saturday, April 16 need to confirm with Mrs. Honke [A103] or Mrs. Weaver by FRIDAY, APRIL 8th. 

Outside Date forms for Prom are now available in the main office.  Prom is April 23rd, the forms are to be completed and returned to the office by Thursday, April 21st!

F.A.I.R. is hosting Mix It Up Day at lunch all three periods on Monday, April 11 in the auxiliary cafeteria. Come meet and mingle with new and old Ralston friends and staff!

Spanish Club will be having their monthly afternoon at the movies today, April 6 at 3:30!  We will be watching the movie "GLUP" (yes- GLUP) which comes highly recommended by Sra. Honke.  Bring a snack to share to A104, relax and join us for some fun in Spanish!  
The “Tabs for Abs” collection cups are now available in homeroom.   “Tabs for Abs” collects aluminum can tabs in memory of Abbey Rotert, who lost her battle to a rare disease two years ago.  The tabs are recycled with the money donated to The Ronald McDonald House in her memory.  The tabs will be collected during Thursday homerooms through May 4th, with weekly totals announced on Friday. Each week the homeroom with the most tabs donated will receive doughnuts.  Donations larger than the collection cups can be dropped off in Room A217.  
Registration for Summer Driver's Education will be Tuesday and Wednesday, May 10th & 11th from 7:00pm - 8:00pm in the RHS Commons.  Class will be from June 6th through the 17th.  Registration forms with more information are now available in the main office.

All Seniors are expected to participate in a Job Shadow Experience on April 19th from 8:00am - 12:00pm.  Your homeroom teacher has all of the information and due dates for the packet.  If you do not have a homeroom teacher, talk to your counselor about the expectations and pick up your packet.  A shortened class schedule will be run from 1:00pm - 3:17pm.

The Ralston Gender-Sexualities Alliance will be meeting on Thursday, April 14th to discuss the Day of Silence and other summer opportunities.

College/Career Center
A Nebraska National Guard representative will be in the cafeteria today during lunch.
