|After school Weather:
Please wait INSIDE
Seniors if you did not pick up your announcements when Jostens was here they are in the main office. You can stop in before or after school or in between classes to pick them up.
Reminder--Boston APUSH students, there will be a meeting today after school or tomorrow before school to tie up loose ends before the trip and send information home to your parents. Please plan to be at one of the meetings. See Ms. Hartman with questions.
Attention Culinary Club. Come watch "Ratatouille" today, April 8th from 3:25 - 5:30 pm in A107. Snacks will be provided. Talk to Mrs. Krist if you have any questions. As Chef Gusteau says, "What I say is true - anyone can cook... but only the fearless can be great."
Due to expected rain, the Key Club Park clean up will be postponed until next Thursday. No meeting this week.
Summer School information is now available in the main office as well as in the counseling department.
War has been declared on blood cancers! This reporter has not heard of any major battles in any of the hallways but I have heard that "ammunition" in the form of pennies has been delivered to at least ONE homeroom. We need $1500.00 to end this war! Watch for banners to go up in your hallways to track your progress.
Join French Club Friday, April 10th in A101 for our annual movie night! We will be enjoying popcorn, drinks, and other treats as we watch the film Midnight in Paris. The film starts at 3:30!
Outside Date forms for Prom are now available in the Main Office. These forms must be turned into the office by Thursday, April 16th.
Registration for the Summer session of Driver's Education will be May 5th and 6th from 7:00pm - 8:00pm in the commons area. Registration forms with more information are now available in the main office.
Stop in to the media center and take a look at the awesome basket jam-packed with books, fun stuff, and candy. You could win it by writing a short book review for a book that you have read. Click on the Google form to submit your review. Every book review submitted means getting your name entered to win the basket.
The Swimming Competency Test will be administered by Mr. Hartfield on Saturday, April 18 at 11:45am or Saturday, April 25 at 11:45am at the RHS swimming pool.
Students MUST contact the high school office to pre-register for ONE of those two options. There is no advance instruction to prepare and no instruction will be given during the test. Students should plan to be in the pool for 45 minutes to one hour to complete the testing.
Reminder, upon passing this test you will have the swimming designation waived from your PE credit requirements only NOT the actual 2.5 credit hours. You must still take 20 credit hours of PE.
The Omaha Dog Park Advocates are having their annual fundraiser, "Spring Bark in the Park" on Saturday, April 25th at the Hefflinger Dog Park, 111th & Maple. Volunteers are needed between the hours of 8 am to 4 pm.
