Reminder for Seniors:  After today you will no longer be considered an active student.  Therefore, if you come to the high school during school hours you must check in to the main office and obtain a visitor's pass.  Teacher's will not be available to visit with except during their planning time with a pre-arranged meeting.   Please be respectful to your underclassmen as they finish their last week of school.
Seniors:  Cap and Gown orders are here!  You may come to the main office between classes, at lunch, or after school to pick up PROVIDED you have taken care of all your your fines and/or obligations.
Seniors just a reminder:  you will have access to your school Google accounts ONLY until July 1st.  After that date it will be inactivated.  If you have something saved you must transfer to a different account before July 1st!

SENIORS: Your 2016 Yearbook will be here on Friday!  Pick up yours after graduation rehearsal at the senior Luncheon.  We will be selling extra copies as well on a first come, first served basis.  See Mrs. Honz with questions or to purchase your copy before Friday.
Seniors if you  have not completed the exit survey please stop by the computer lab prior to Friday morning.

To the RHS seniors who attended Meadows Elementary.....we invite you to come lead our Parade of Champions this Friday at 1:30. Our current Meadows Mustangs and your Meadows teachers would love to see you there.  Bring your graduation caps and gowns- your presence will be a huge inspiration to our students.  Congratulations to you all! We are proud of you! Let Ms. Schroeder at Meadows know if you can attend. (402-339-6655)

Art Students:  Please pick up any remaining art projects from the previous terms ASAP!  Anything not picked up by Wednesday, May 18th will be discarded.  Thank you!

2016 yearbooks are here!  We will be distributing to underclassmen after the assembly next week.  But we still have a few extras left to sell.  Go online to or see Mrs. Honz in B206 to reserve your copy.

If you are planning to take AP Spanish 5 or Spanish 4 HR next year, please see Mrs. Honke in A103 before or after school or during homeroom for information regarding the summer project. 
Seniors:  Jack Martin Photography will be at graduation taking a picture of each student receiving their diploma.  If you would like to purchase a photo package you can pre-order now and receive a $5.00 discount!  Order forms are available in the main office.  These pre-order forms must be turned in with payment by May 12th (Senior's last day).  A second opportunity to purchase photos will be mailed out during the summer.

THE READ FOR REID BOOK DRIVE - Spread kindness with a book!  Julia Nekola, a senior here at RHS is asking for book donations for her pay it forward project.  New or gently used books will be accepted.  The books collected will be donated to homeless children in shelters in the Omaha area as well as sick children on the pediatric floors of local hospitals  Cash donations will also be accepted to purchase books.  A label will be placed inside every book donated saying, "In memory of Reid Adler 2016."  Spread kindness with a book!  A box for your donations will be placed in the office.  If you have any questions, you can contact Julia by email, or call (402)339-3165.  Thank you for your help in spreading kindness!

The Ralston Public Schools is pleased to announce two administrative staffing changes for the 2016-2017 school year.
Steve Schrad will be returning to Ralston Middle School to serve as the building's assistant principal/activities director.  Steve originally began his career as an 8th grade social studies teacher at Ralston Middle School in 1993.
Ryan Pivonka will likewise be returning home to Ralston High School where he will also serve as as an assistant principal.  Ryan has spent most of his professional career at Ralston High School as a vocal music teacher.

Community Service Opportunity

RGSA (Ralston Girls Softball Association) is looking for concession stand volunteers ages 14 and up!  This is a low stress way to not only earn your Ralston High School community hours but to also get some experience working with cash registers and people which could help you in future employment.  If you are interested please visit RGSA.Org and click on the “CLICK HERE” to sign up for your preferred spot.  We also have the volunteer sheets on hand at the concession stand which is located in the middle of Wager and Crown fields off   80th and Park Dr.

A Ralston area mom is looking for someone to babysit 2 toddlers. Hours are approximately 2:00 - 6:30 p.m.  for 3 days during the week, with the possibility of some weekend days as well.  Phone or text: Kelsey Battson,  402-913-6311.  
Junior parents and students:  EducationQuest invites you to attend a Financial Aid Program where you'll learn about college funding options.  They will address the change in the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) that allows you to file it beginning October 1, 2016.  Dates are:

BOYS TENNIS PLAYERS:  There will be a short meeting for all boys planning on playing tennis next season.  This meeting will be on Friday, May 20 at 7:30am  in room A119 (Coach Siske's room).
