Spanish Club will be ending the year with a FIESTA at Guacamaya Mexican Restaurant on Wednesday, May 18th. We will gather in Sra. Plugge's room and leave from there. You are required to have a permission form to attend! Please return by May 17th so transportation arrangements can be finalized. For more information and/or a permission slip see Sra. Plugge or Sra. Honke!
Reminder- There is an NHS meeting today after school today in B121.
If you are interested in being a class officer next year, please come sign up now in the main office! You'll sign up for the grade you will be in next year, and you must sign up by the end of the day on Wednesday, May 18th. We'll have elections on Thursday in homeroom.
Art Students: Please pick up any remaining art projects from the previous terms ASAP! Anything not picked up by Wednesday, May 18th will be discarded. Thank you!
The final due date for all library materials is this Wednesday, May 18th. Any item out after that time will be considered overdue. Remember, you must return all library materials before you leave for the summer if you want to register without any hassles in August. Stop by and talk to Ms. Olsen or Ms. Topolski with any questions.
2016 yearbooks are here! We will be distributing to underclassmen after the assembly next week. But we still have a few extras left to sell. Go online to yearbooksforever.com or see Mrs. Honz in B206 to reserve your copy.
If you are planning to take AP Spanish 5 or Spanish 4 HR next year, please see Mrs. Honke in A103 before or after school or during homeroom for information regarding the summer project.

THE READ FOR REID BOOK DRIVE - Spread kindness with a book! Julia Nekola, a senior here at RHS is asking for book donations for her pay it forward project. New or gently used books will be accepted. The books collected will be donated to homeless children in shelters in the Omaha area as well as sick children on the pediatric floors of local hospitals Cash donations will also be accepted to purchase books. A label will be placed inside every book donated saying, "In memory of Reid Adler 2016." Spread kindness with a book! A box for your donations will be placed in the office. Community Service Opportunity
RGSA (Ralston Girls Softball Association) is looking for concession stand volunteers ages 14 and up! This is a low stress way to not only earn your Ralston High School community hours but to also get some experience working with cash registers and people which could help you in future employment. If you are interested please visit RGSA.Org and click on the “CLICK HERE” to sign up for your preferred spot. We also have the volunteer sheets on hand at the concession stand which is located in the middle of Wager and Crown fields off 80th and Park Dr.

The Douglas County Election Commission(225 N. 115 St.) is searching for energetic, computer literate and hard working individuals to fill several temporary data entry clerk positions. Hours: 8:30 - 5, M-F, starting on July 11 and ending Aug. 26. (Dates are flexible) Pay=$11/hr. You must be 16 and able to type 30 wpm, with computer experience and strong attention to detail. Drug test and criminal records check also required.
Junior parents and students: EducationQuest invites you to attend a Financial Aid Program where you'll learn about college funding options. They will address the change in the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) that allows you to file it beginning October 1, 2016. Dates are:

BOYS TENNIS PLAYERS: There will be a short meeting for all boys planning on playing tennis next season. This meeting will be on Friday, May 20 at 7:30am in room A119 (Coach Siske's room).
