The rescheduled Undergrad Assembly will be held on Wednesday, May 25th at 10:15am.  We will dismiss for the summer after the assembly (approximately 11:30).

Students:  you may pick up  your PRE-PURCHASED  yearbook TODAY during breakfast and lunch and Friday during the same times.  
If you would still like to purchase one, there will be extra books available.  They are $60 and can be paid for with cash or check at the table.  Credit cards can be used, but must go through Mr. Boster.

Students:  you will vote for Class officers TODAY in your homeroom!  TODAY is the only day to vote.  Please vote for 5 of your classmates for officers.

All Spring Athletes must clear out their athletic lockers by Tuesday, May 24th.  All clothing/gear left in the lockers after that date will be donated.  LEAVE THE LOCK ON YOUR LOCKER!

The RHS Drama Department will be holding auditions for NEXT FALL's first play, "The Importance of being Earnest,"  Monday, May 23 & Tuesday, May 24 @ 3:30 PM in the theatre.  You only need to attend one audition session.  If cast - you will be a part of the first show next fall which opens mid. September.  Questions??? See Mr. Uhrmacher in D112.

The cheerleaders and dancers will be having a car wash on Saturday, May 21st at Don & Millie's on Q St.! Come support them from 11:00 AM- 3:00 PM!

If you are a student that is NOT returning to Ralston HS next year, please see Mrs. Barker in the Counseling Office for CHECK OUT information and paperwork.  

Join French Club after school on Monday, May 23rd for our final meeting of the school year. Enjoy food, drink, and fun with the chance to bid au revoir to Madame H. and Madame O. 

Reminder:  Printing to the Computer Lab - The CL Dell and  CL Dell5310 printer is not working. Please use the CLHP or CL HP4250. 

Monday during homeroom all students that are signed up for AP Chemistry and AP Biology will meet in Lecture room C.   Please check your student email regarding this meeting.

All students taking APUSH next year, please plan to meet in Ms. Hartman's room (B121) during Htoday for a quick meeting regarding your summer reading assignment. If you are unable to attend, please see Ms. Hartman before the end of the year! 

All Medical Science Academy students, including new for next year, should report to Lecture Room C during homeroom TODAY May 19th!  Current Academy students, if you want to sell your blue scrubs be sure to bring them to the meeting!

Message from the Health Office:  if you have any medicine in the Health Office you must have a parent or guardian come pick it up for the summer.  Any meds that are not claimed by the last day of school will be destroyed.
HOSA members!  Community Service opportunity for this summer. The date is Saturday June 11th.  See Mrs. Ziegler for more details and to sign up!

Become a Student Athletic Trainer this fall! Be involved in RHS athletics, earn service hours, learn about a medical profession, have fun, and meet new people. Must be able to commit to working a regular schedule. Mainly after school football practices from 3:30-6 and varsity games. Duties will include basic taping and wound care, practice/event preparation, cleaning, and attending RHS practices and events as scheduled. If interested email Co Schneider at by the end of the school year. In your email, please include why you are interested in this opportunity and any schedule conflicts you might have. Those students selected to participate during the spring season will be notified by late July and will be expected to participate in orientation the first week of August. Fall practices start Monday August 8th.

If you are planning to take AP Spanish 5 or Spanish 4 HR next year, please see Mrs. Honke in A103 before or after school or during homeroom for information regarding the summer project. 

THE READ FOR REID BOOK DRIVE - Spread kindness with a book!  Julia Nekola, a senior here at RHS is asking for book donations for her pay it forward project.  New or gently used books will be accepted.  The books collected will be donated to homeless children in shelters in the Omaha area as well as sick children on the pediatric floors of local hospitals  Cash donations will also be accepted to purchase books.  A label will be placed inside every book donated saying, "In memory of Reid Adler 2016."  Spread kindness with a book!  A box for your donations will be placed in the office.  If you have any questions, you can contact Julia by email, or call (402)339-3165.  Thank you for your help in spreading kindness!
Community Service Opportunity

RGSA (Ralston Girls Softball Association) is looking for concession stand volunteers ages 14 and up!  This is a low stress way to not only earn your Ralston High School community hours but to also get some experience working with cash registers and people which could help you in future employment.  If you are interested please visit RGSA.Org and click on the “CLICK HERE” to sign up for your preferred spot.  We also have the volunteer sheets on hand at the concession stand which is located in the middle of Wager and Crown fields off   80th and Park Dr. 


College/Career Center
Junior parents and students:  EducationQuest invites you to attend a Financial Aid Program where you'll learn about college funding options.  They will address the change in the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) that allows you to file it beginning October 1, 2016.  Dates are:
Monday, May 9, 6:30-7:30 p.m. at Westside High School, 8701 Pacific St. or Tuesday, May 17, 6 - 7 p.m. at Papillion-LaVista High School, 402 Centennial Road.  Questions? Call: 402-391-4033.
BOYS TENNIS PLAYERS:  There will be a short meeting for all boys planning on playing tennis next season.  This meeting will be on Friday, May 20 at 7:30am  in room A119 (Coach Siske's room).

NEW GIRLS GOLFERS: There will be a brief meeting this Friday during homeroom for anyone interested in playing for the girls golf team in the fall. We'll plan to meet in the Lecture Room C right at the beginning of homeroom.  If you have any questions please see Mr. Larson.
