Students!  Auditions for the Fall Play, "Harvey" will be today  at 3:30pm in the theatre!  You need only attend one day!  Any questions see Mr. Uhrmacher in room D112!

RHS Readers What Are You Reading? Book Club will meet this Friday, August 15 during all three lunch periods in the back of the library.  Bring your lunch (you will need a pass if you are bringing in a lunch tray) and join us to chat about favorite reads, books that changed your life, or the book you just couldn’t put down.  No need to sign up or make a huge commitment --just come and enjoy a little conversation about books.  Ms. Sara from Baright and Ms. Olsen facilitate the discussions.  Students interested in holding an office for RHS Readers should give their names to Ms. Olsen.

Reminder for College Possible Students:  This class does not start until Sept. 2nd (after Labor Day).

Dress Code
Students are reminded that the dress code will be enforced.  Shorts and skirts should be fingertip length and shirts with spaghetti straps, tank tops,  or those which are strapless, halters, low cut, or expose mid-riff or undergarments are not acceptable.  Please refer to your student handbook for any questions.
Students and parents, we appreciate your help in this matter.

Math Club Informational Meeting on Tuesday August 19th from 3:20 - 3:45 in Room A210.
Stop by to learn about Math Club and decide if you would like to join!  The first math contest is only a few weeks away!  Come on!  It’s hip to B2!

All students interested in joining F.A.I.R., Ralston's diversity club, please join us for our first meeting today in B120 at 3:25p.  Ms. Oglesby and Mrs. Weland will have candy!

Fall Driver Education will be September 6th though November 1st.  Registration will be held in the commons on Tuesday, August 26th and Wednesday August 27th from 7:00 - 8:00pm.  Registration forms with more information are now available in the office.

All students interested in being a part of student council this year should meet in room C-107 (in the library) at 3:23pm today to discuss some of the plans we have for the year including homeroom competitions, river cities student council, and sweet treat night.  If you are unable to attend please see Mr. Janssen in room D-154 this week.

Become a Student Athletic Trainer! 
Be involved in RHS athletics, earn service hours, learn about a medical profession, have fun, and meet new people. Must be able to commit to working football practices after school and all varsity games. Duties will include basic taping and wound care, practice/event preparation, and attending RHS practices and events as scheduled.

IVY LEAGUE COLLEGE VISIT TOUR - These tours are offered to 10th and 11th graders who want to check out colleges on the East coast.  They include Harvard, MIT, Boston University, Brown and several more. Activities/Athletics
Attention all girls interested in playing volleyball: Tryouts begin on Monday, August 18th after school in the gym. You must have a physical to tryout. Questions?  Talk to Coach Lindeman or Coach Brehm.

There will be a cross-country meeting after school today in Room B110 for anyone interested!  Please see Coach O'Reilly if you have questions.

LADIES GOLFERS: Please see Coach Kosch ASAP in Room A119 if you're interested in playing for the Ralston-Mercy girls golf team. Practice started this past Monday but it isn't too late quite yet but will be very soon!!! You must have a physical completed and on record too.
 
A Look Ahead:

Official Tardy Program begins.  Students who are late to class must check in at a Tardy Station to receive a pass to class.
