Reminder for College Possible Students:  This class does not start until Sept. 2nd (after Labor Day).

Students, 
Don't forget that we have a MakerSpace in the Library Media Center for your student projects.  It is stocked with paper, markers, colored pencils, crazy scissors, scrapbooking items, old magazines, Legos, etc.  More coming soon.

Math Club will meet at 7:15 a.m. in room A203 on Monday mornings starting this Monday!  Please plan to attend if you would like to join us for the first math contest coming up on Sept 2.
 
Students:  Do you want to "Spark" your future?  The first DECA meeting is coming up on Monday, August 25 at 6:30 p.m. in Room A120.  Any questions, see Mrs. Hinchcliff-Smith in Room A120.  
 
Culinary Club:  Do you like to cook?  Are you the next Rachel Ray or Bobby Flay  Do you like to eat and want to learn how to make great food? Join the Culinary Club.  No prior experience needed. Our first meeting will be Wednesday August 27th 3:25 until 4:15 in the FCS Kitchens Room F102.  Questions?  Can't make it?  Contact Mrs. Krist. 

Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors:  the 2014 Outdoor Ed Student Counselor Applications are now available in the main office!  These applications must be turned in by Friday, August 29th!

SENIORS:  It's time to start thinking about creating a design for your senior class T-shirt.  Submit appropriate designs to Mrs. Honz in B206 or Ms. Rowley in B220 no later than Wednesday, September 3

TRIP TO SPAIN: Still thinking you want to go to Spain next summer?  You can still go!  There will be one more info. meeting for the June RHS Spain trip next Tuesday after school in A102 (Ms. Hoesly's room). Minimum requirements are completion of Spanish 2 by June or be a Native Speaker.

SPANISH CLUB: there will be a meeting after school at 3:30, Wednesday Aug 27 in A102 (Ms. Hoesly's room) We will discuss up coming events. If you have questions or can not attend but want to be involved please see Ms Hoesly.

FRENCH CLUB is currently signing up new members! Join us every month for French Culture, food and fun!! See Mrs. Henry (A101) or Ms Oglesby (A109) to get more details and sign up!
If you are interested in being a French Club Officer, please submit a candidacy poster to Mme H. by today, August 22nd

Ralston destination imagination teams will be meeting starting Monday, August 25, at the middle school right after school until 5:00. We will meet Mondays and Fridays. Fall Driver Education will be September 6th though November 1st.  Registration will be held in the commons on Tuesday, August 26th and Wednesday August 27th from 7:00 - 8:00pm.  Registration forms with more information are now available in the office.

Hey RHS need a clean car??  The DANCE TEAM will be having a car wash at Don & Millies, 84th & Q on Saturday, August 23rd from 11 to 2? They will also get back 20% if you eat there and mention RHS Dance.  Thank you for your support!

College/Career Center
Student Opportunity:
U of Nebraska- Kearney Multicultural Scholars and Leaders Day  for  Seniors -Wednesday, Sept. 17, from 8:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.  You will receive information about their scholarship application process and what to expect from the college application process.  You do not have to be considering UNK to attend.  Register at:  visit.unk.eduand find MSLD on 9/17.  Deadline is Sept. 10.
