SENIORS:  If you plan to graduate in May of 2016 and want your name to be printed correctly on the back of the senior class T-shirt, check the list in Ms. Rowley's room (B220), in Mrs. Honz's room (B206), in the main office on the counter by Mrs. Lewis's desk, or in your senior English class.  Please follow the directions that are posted along with the list of names.  You need to correct your name on only one list. Please check your name by the end of the day on Friday, September 18.

The next DECA Meeting is this Wed. Sept. 16th at 6:30 p.m room A120.  If you are interested in running for the officer board (anyone can run) - prepare a 3 minute speech. Contact Mrs. Hinchcliff  for more information.  Registration for the Fall Leadership Conference is due this Friday.  Pick up registration forms in Mrs. Hinchcliff's room.

HEY, RALSTON SENIORS!  The Senior BBQ is this Friday from 5:30 P.M. until game time.  You can buy your tickets from any senior class officer, Mrs. Honz in B206, or Ms. Rowley in B220.  You must buy a ticket in advance.  The cost is $1.00, but if you wear Ralston spirit attire, you get your dollar back when you attend the BBQ.  Stay for the game and watch the RAMS beat Mount Michael!

Ralston High School has joined with other schools from across the nation and Japan for the Somewhat Virtual Book Club.  Join us on October 7th either at RHS or at Google Hangouts on Air for a discussion of I'll Give You the Sun by Jandy Nelson.  To ask questions or to sign up, stop by the RHS Library.

Join RHS READERS Book Club for our September activity as we recreate scenes from Divergent and/or The Lightning Thief by playing Capture the Flag at Ralston Park on Wednesday, September 23rd starting at 3:45.  After the game, we will relax with apple cider and popcorn.  We will be done by 5:00 pm.  Sign up in the RHS Library.
Fashion Club will meet on Wednesday September 16th after school until 4:30 in room A107.  Anyone interested in the art of fashion is welcome.  
UNK Criminal Justice Conference - Monday, Oct. 5, from 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.  Please see Ms. Hartman or Ms. Weland before Wednesday September 16 if you are a senior or junior and interested in attending this event.

Spanish Club meets this Wednesday, Sept. 16 at 3:25 in A104.  Join us for a Spanish snack as we elect officers, order T-shirts, and CELEBRATE el Día de Independencia!  ¡Olé!

The Ralston GSA has decided to change its name to the "Gender/Sexualities Alliance" in an effort to be more inclusive to all students. GSA will meet once per month on Thursdays after school. The next meeting will be on Thursday September 17th in room B208. All students are welcome to come!
Attention all travelers to France in 2016! We will have our first informational meeting for parents and travelers onThursday, September 24 from 6:00-7:30 p.m. in Lecture Room C. Plan to attend for you, your parents/guardians, or both to attend. There are two spots remaining for this trip! You must sign up by September 15th! See Madame Oglesby in A102 for more information.
Outside Date Forms for Homecoming are now available in the main office.  The completed forms are due back by Thursday, October 8th.

Attention Juniors and Seniors:  Jill Schiemann from Grand Canyon University in Arizona will be in Lec. Room C on Thursday, Sept. 24, during homeroom.  She will be offering a FREE visit to Grand Canyon University in October.  Pizza will also be available.  If interested in learning about this exciting opportunity, report to Lec. Room C on Sept. 17th  after you check in w/your homeroom teacher.
