The next DECA Meeting is today Sept. 16th at 6:30 p.m room A120. If you are interested in running for the officer board (anyone can run) - prepare a 3 minute speech. Contact Mrs. Hinchcliff for more information. Registration for the Fall Leadership Conference is due this Friday. Pick up registration forms in Mrs. Hinchcliff's room.
HEY, RALSTON SENIORS! The Senior BBQ is this Friday from 5:30 P.M. until game time. You can buy your tickets from any senior class officer, Mrs. Honz in B206, or Ms. Rowley in B220. You must buy a ticket in advance. The cost is $1.00, but if you wear Ralston spirit attire, you get your dollar back when you attend the BBQ. Stay for the game and watch the RAMS beat Mount Michael!
Math Club meets Thursday at 3:25 in A210. We will begin to prepare for our first math contest!! If you can not make it, please stop by for contest information asap!
Attention students in need of community service hours. Key Club meets this Thursday, after school in D-152. Please bring you driver/rider permission forms if you have not turned them in yet.
Reminder: Students you MUST have and present your ID showing you have an Activity pass when attending home games in order to get in with no charge. No ID means you will have to purchase a ticket!
Ralston High School has joined with other schools from across the nation and Japan for the Somewhat Virtual Book Club. Join us on October 7th either at RHS or at Google Hangouts on Air for a discussion of I'll Give You the Sun by Jandy Nelson. To ask questions or to sign up, stop by the RHS Library.
Join RHS READERS Book Club for our September activity as we recreate scenes from Divergent and/or The Lightning Thief by playing Capture the Flag at Ralston Park on Wednesday, September 23rd starting at 3:45. After the game, we will relax with apple cider and popcorn. We will be done by 5:00 pm. Sign up in the RHS Library.
Fashion Club will meet on today, September 16th after school until 4:30 in room A107. Anyone interested in the art of fashion is welcome.
The Fellowship of Christian Athletes will meet THIS THURSDAY night @ 6:30PM in the Media Center! Come hang out for worship, devotional, and fellowship! Everyone is welcome, please see Mrs. Behrens with questions.
Spanish Club meets today, Sept. 16 at 3:25 in A104. Join us for a Spanish snack as we elect officers, order T-shirts, and CELEBRATE el Día de Independencia! ¡Olé!
The Ralston GSA has decided to change its name to the "Gender/Sexualities Alliance" in an effort to be more inclusive to all students. GSA will meet once per month on Thursdays after school. The next meeting will be on Thursday September 17th in room B208. All students are welcome to come!
Outside Date Forms for Homecoming are now available in the main office. The completed forms are due back by Thursday, October 8th.
Community Service Opportunity
Meadows elementary is looking for volunteers to provide childcare at their Parent/Teacher conferences. This year they are Sept. 29 from 1:30-7:30 p.m. and Oct. 1 from 3:30-7:30 p.m.
