HEY, RALSTON SENIORS!  The Senior BBQ is this Friday from 5:30 P.M. until game time.  You can buy your tickets from any senior class officer, Mrs. Honz in B206, or Ms. Rowley in B220.  You must buy a ticket in advance.  The cost is $1.00, but if you wear Ralston spirit attire, you get your dollar back when you attend the BBQ.  Stay for the game and watch the RAMS beat Mount Michael!

Math Club meets today at 3:25 in A210.  We will begin to prepare for our first math contest!!  If you can not make it, please stop by for contest information asap!

There will be an NHS meeting Monday at 7:30 and 3:30 in Ms. Hartman's room, B 121. All members must attend one meeting or the other. 

NHS applications are due to Ms. Hartman in B 121 by Friday, September 25This is a firm deadline. In you want to apply for NHS, you must have all materials in by this deadline. 
Attention students in need of community service hours.  Key Club meets today, after school in D152.  Please bring you driver/rider permission forms if you have not turned them in yet.

Reminder:  Drivers Education classes begin this Saturday, September 19th at 8:00am.  They will meet in the small cafeteria.

Reminder:  Students you MUST have and present your ID showing you have an Activity pass when attending home games in order to get in with no charge.  No ID means you will have to purchase a ticket!

Ralston High School has joined with other schools from across the nation and Japan for the Somewhat Virtual Book Club.  Join us on October 7th either at RHS or at Google Hangouts on Air for a discussion of I'll Give You the Sun by Jandy Nelson.  To ask questions or to sign up, stop by the RHS Library.

Join RHS READERS Book Club for our September activity as we recreate scenes from Divergent and/or The Lightning Thief by playing Capture the Flag at Ralston Park on Wednesday, September 23rd starting at 3:45.  After the game, we will relax with apple cider and popcorn.  We will be done by 5:00 pm.  Sign up in the RHS Library.
The Fellowship of Christian Athletes will meet tonight @ 6:30PM in the Media Center!  Come hang out for worship, devotional, and fellowship!  Everyone is welcome, please see Mrs. Behrens with questions.
Ralston Yoga Club is offering a FREE yoga class to students and staff on Thursday, October 8 from 4:00-5:00p in Ralston High School Media Center!
Bring yourself! Bring a friend! Get your yoga and relaxation on!
The Ralston GSA has decided to change its name to the "Gender/Sexualities Alliance" in an effort to be more inclusive to all students. GSA will meet once per month on Thursdays after school. The next meeting will be today, September 17th in room B208. All students are welcome to come!
Outside Date Forms for Homecoming are now available in the main office.  The completed forms are due back by Thursday, October 8th.
Community Service Opportunity
Meadows elementary is looking for volunteers to provide childcare at their Parent/Teacher conferences.  This year they are Sept. 29 from 1:30-7:30 p.m. and Oct. 1 from 3:30-7:30 p.m.

Juniors and seniors:  If you signed up to go on the Creighton/UNO campus visit onSept. 22, remember that your permission slips are due to Mrs. Barker TODAY.  No permission slip=no go.
Attention Juniors and Seniors:  Jill Schiemann from Grand Canyon University in Arizona will be in Lec. Room C on Thursday, Sept. 24, during homeroom.  She will be offering a FREE visit to Grand Canyon University in October.  Pizza will also be available.  If interested in learning about this exciting opportunity, report to Lec. Room C on Sept. 24th  after you check in w/your homeroom teacher.
Career speaker reminder:  If you signed up for our 1st Career Speaker and have your admission ticket from your homeroom teacher, remember to report to Lecture Room C today during homeroom.
