The list for Outdoor Ed Counselors for this year has been posted on the bulletin board in front of the main office. Please note: there will be a MANDATORY meeting on Thursday, September 24th at 7:30am in the small cafeteria.
Math Club will meet Thursday at 3:25 in A211. Hope to see you there!
Speech Team WILL be having a mandatory meeting TODAY, Sept. 23rd for all students who plan on competing for the 2015-16 school year. Our first novice tournament is Friday, November 13th. We need to start choosing scripts and such SOON. Please plan on attending this meeting or get back to me with a DATE and TYPE of speech you think you would like to give. See Mrs. Adair in room B218 for further details.
NHS applications are due to Ms. Hartman in B 121 by Friday, September 25. This is a firm deadline. In you want to apply for NHS, you must have all materials in by this deadline.
The next DECA meeting is Monday, Sep. 28, 6:30pm Room A120.
Attention RHS debate team members! There will be a change in the practice schedule for the upcoming week. We will be meeting on Wednesday the 23rd as normal. On Monday the 28th, we will have our first Monday practice for PF and LD debaters. Additionally, the mandatory meeting we normally have on Wednesday will be moved to THURSDAY OCTOBER 1ST for next week only. This is because the National Speech and Debate Association will release the topics for our first competition on Thursday morning. Come ready to discuss and participate.
Attention all travelers to France in 2016! We will have our first informational meeting for parents and travelers on Thursday, September 24 from6:00-7:30 p.m. in Lecture Room C. Plan to attend for you, your parents/guardians, or both to attend. There are two spots remaining for this trip! See Madame Oglesby in A102 for more information.
MULTICULTURAL CLUB meeting today, September 23rd in the Media Center after school. We will have a guest speaker from UNO, Rebekka Erks, to talk about a Service Learning Project. Please plan to attend.
See You At The Pole!! National Student Day of Prayer is THIS Thursday! Meet at the RHS Flag Pole (front of the building) @ 7:15AM Thursday to spend time praying for our students, teachers, administrators, and building. Everyone is welcome...doughnuts & juice will be provided!
Attention FCA! This week's Fellowship of Christian Athletes meeting will take place Thursday morning @ 7:15am at the Flag Pole! We will be participating in "See You at the Pole" to pray for our school. We'll have doughnuts & juice after our time of prayer!
Culinary Club will meet this Friday after school in F102 until 5pm. Come and enjoy some camaraderie in the kitchen. We will vote on club officers and t-shirts. Ralston High School has joined with other schools from across the nation and Japan for the Somewhat Virtual Book Club. Join us on October 7th either at RHS or at Google Hangouts on Air for a discussion of I'll Give You the Sun by Jandy Nelson. To ask questions or to sign up, stop by the RHS Library.
RHS Readers Book Club meets today during both lunches. Stop by if you need a pass to get food out of the cafeteria. See you there!

Student council will be hosting the 1st Annual Glow Run!! This will be a fun 5K run/walk for all Ralston students, staff and family! Spread the news to friends and family! Details are below!

Ralston Yoga Club is offering a FREE yoga class to students and staff on Thursday, October 8 from 4:00-5:00p in Ralston High School Media Center!

She will be offering a FREE visit to Grand Canyon University in October. Pizza will also be available. If interested in learning about this exciting opportunity, report to Lec. Room C tomorrow after you check in w/your homeroom teacher.
