HOSA members: The HOSA Experience at Bryan Hospital on October 18th is a great opportunity and an exciting day. The cost is $20 for HOSA members and $30 for non members. There will be workshops in the cadaver lab, the nursing simulation lab, emergency medicine and more! Space is limited so see Mrs. Ziegler ASAP for a registration form and more details! We are taking a bus!
Attention Key Club Members, if you are going to the food bank on Thursday, please make sure you turn in you driver/passenger permission slip. If it is not turned in, you will not be allowed to go.
It's not too late to sign up to go on the trip to Costa Rica this summer! There will be an informational meeting today, Wednesday, September 28 in Room A104. This is for parents and students. Beat the October 1 price increase and sign up soon! Questions? Ask Sra. Plugge or Sra. Honke!
Please return your Picture order form for Homecoming Pictures to the school office with payment by Thursday, October 6th. They will be picked up after school that day. The DVD's will be ready to pick up from the office the following Thursday, October 13th.
Even though payment was made online, the order form will still need to be returned to the office.
Join the RHS READERS Club at opening night of "Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children"this Friday at AkSarBen Cinema. Bring $10 to Mrs. Olsen in the Library by TODAY, or order your tickets online. This film will sell out. Free popcorn/concession cards to the first 25 to sign up. Any questions, stop by the Library Media Center.
Jack Martin Photography will be here on Wednesday, October 26 for re-takes and/or make-up photos. They'll be here during 3rd period lunches. Order forms are available online under the Document section at the RHS web page.
PSAT-NMSQT Openings for 10th & 11th Graders
You are invited to take the PSAT/NMSQT test Wednesday morning, October 19 at the Ralston High School. Your test score provides entry into the National Merit Scholarship Corporation competitions, scholarships and free access to MY COLLEGE QUICKSTART KIT to help explore majors and careers.
The cost of the test is $15.00 and must be paid when you sign up. Please sign up with Mrs. Barker in the Counseling office, and pick up your Official Student Guide to the PSAT/NMSQT test. Contact Mrs. Athow, if you have questions. Limited spots available.
College and Career Center
College and Career Speakers coming up during homeroom are:
10/4 University of Kansas (3 hours south of Omaha)
10/6 Army Career opportunities as well as Army during lunch
Sign up in the College/Career Center if you want to hear the speakers.
Campus Visits: If you would like to visit a campus, you will need to get a
Permission form completed and returned to the College/Career center one week before the visit. We will gather in Lecture Room C the morning of the visit for a light breakfast to look at the schedule for the day.
