Calling all 9th Grade Mathletes!!!   Grab any 9th grade partner and sign up for the Freshmen Math Contest to be held during homeroom on Thursday Oct 6th!  Find the contest poster in your homeroom for more details and a signup sheet.  Food, fun, and fame available to participants!    (Email Mrs. Johansen or Mrs. Brockhaus with questions.)


Attention Key Club members.  The trip to the Foodbank has been cancelled for today.


Please return your Picture order form for Homecoming Pictures to the school office with payment by Thursday, October 6th. They will be picked up after school that day.  The DVD's will be ready to pick up from the office the following Thursday, October 13th.  
Even though payment was made online, the order form will still need to be returned to the office.
Student Council will hold its next meeting on Tuesday, October 4th during Homeroom. Any student is welcome to attend, no matter if you are in a club or not. It is a great way to find out what is going on in the school. If you are interested, please see Mrs. Prochaska or Miss Engel to get a pass to attend! 

Trap Shooting is a great sport to hone your shooting skills.  Hit pottery traveling 43 mph!  Trap is the safest and fastest growing sport in the State.  Kids who attend Ralston can participate on the Gross Trap Shooting Team.  Practice starts after the New Year and the season is 8 weeks, starting in March and goes through State on the first weekend in May.  For more information, contact Coach Chris Horihan at  cmhorihan@yahoo.com Please note the email change!

PSAT-NMSQT Openings for 10th & 11th Graders
You are invited to take the PSAT/NMSQT test Wednesday morning, October 19 at the Ralston High School.  Your test score provides entry into the National Merit Scholarship Corporation competitions, scholarships and free access to MY COLLEGE QUICKSTART KIT to help explore majors and careers.  
The cost of the test is $15.00 and must be paid when you sign up.  Please sign up with Mrs. Barker in the Counseling office, and pick up your Official Student Guide to the PSAT/NMSQT test. Contact Mrs. Athow, if you have questions.  Limited spots available.

Mark your calendar for Sweet Treat Night sponsored by Ralston High School October 27th! The event will go from 6:00 PM-7:30 PM.

Campus Visits: If you would like to visit a campus, you will need to get a 
Permission form completed and returned to the College/Career center one week before the visit.   We will gather in Lecture Room C the morning of the visit for a light breakfast to look at the schedule for the day.
