Please Note:  College Possible Sessions will begin TODAY, Sept. 2, for participating Juniors and Seniors. Juniors will be in room A108 and Seniors will be in room C107. 
Quiz Bowl will meet in B121 after school both Tuesday and Thursday! If you like trivia, come join us! See Ms. Hartman with questions. 

Math Club will meet this Thursday at 3:25-4:00 in A211.  Hope to see you there!

Reminder: the RHS debate team will have a mandatory meeting today in room B208. We'll be giving you a chance to decide on a style of debate that works for you as well as creating a practice schedule

Do you need you community service hours? Do you want to make a difference?  Come join Key Club after school onThursday in room D152!  We will discuss upcoming projects and snacks will be provided!

The Ralston GSA has decided to change its name to the "Gender/Sexualities Alliance" in an effort to be more inclusive to all students. GSA will meet once per month on Thursdays after school. The next meeting will be on Thursday September 17th in room B208. All students are welcome to come!

Ralston High School favorite, Rainbow Rowell, will have a question/answer session and book signing for Eleanor & Park, which was chosen as the Omaha Public Library's 2015 Omaha Reads selection, next Tuesday, September 8th at the W. Dale Clark Library downtown.  Start time is 6 p.m.  For more information, stop in the RHS Library.

SENIORS:  Today is the deadline for turning in T-shirt designs.  Submit appropriate designs to Mrs. Honz in B206 or Ms. Rowley in B220 by the end of the day today.  

TeamMates: Please check your emails to coordinate a time to start meeting with your mentors. The goal is to get started next week.  If you have any questions about setting up a time to meet with your mentor see Mrs. Maly in the counseling office.  
Also, please return your communication permission forms in ASAP to Mrs. Maly in the counseling office. 

Become a Student Athletic Trainer! Be involved in RHS athletics, earn service hours, learn about a medical profession, have fun, and meet new people. Must be able to commit to working a regular schedule. Students will mainly be working with football, and therefore must be available after school and Friday nights. Duties will include basic taping and wound care, practice/event preparation, and attending RHS practices and events as scheduled. 
If interested email Co Schneider at no later than Friday. In your email, please include why you are interested in this opportunity and any schedule conflicts you might have.
Those students selected to participate will be notified by Co over the weekend. 

Congratulations to Jaycob Curran on being selected to participate in the Cornhusker Marching Band Tuba Day! Only 50 students in the state of Nebraska were selected to participate for this event. Jaycob will be playing during the halftime show of the Nebraska vs. South Alabama game on Saturday, September 12th. If you can, please go to the game and cheer him on at halftime!
Bratfest is this Friday from 5:30pm to 7:00pm!  Come out for an inexpensive meal and stay to cheer on our Rams Football team to victory at our first home game of the season!  GO RAMS!

College/Career Center
Attention Juniors & Seniors: Our 1st campus visit will be on Tuesday, September 22, to Creighton and UNO.  Doughnuts and instructions will be served in Lec. C at8:00 a.m., with buses leaving at 8:30 a.m.  Sign up with Mrs. Barker in Guidance.  Attendance is limited to the first 60 students who sign up and return their PERMISSION FORMS BY SEPTEMBER 17.

Girls basketball meeting this Friday at 7:30 am in lecture room C.  All girls with any interest in playing should attend.  Get involved, show support for you fellow students, play basketball!

There will be a meeting for girls interested in playing Tennis this Fall.  This short meeting will be right after school thisThursday by the tennis courts.  If you are out for a Fall sport, there is no need to attend the meeting.
