SENIORS: It's time to start thinking about creating a design for your senior class T-shirt. Submit appropriate designs to Mrs. Weland in B120 or Ms. Mullen in B108 no later than Wednesday, September 7th.
NHS applications are due to Ms. Hartman no later than TODAY at 3:30pm in B121. No exceptions
Speech team is looking for students who are brave, daring, and willing to have fun! Speech Team WILL be having the first mandatory meeting of the year on TUESDAY, September 6th AFTER SCHOOL for all students who plan on competing for the 2016-17 school year.  See Mrs. Adair in room B218 for further details.

The next FAIR meeting will be on Wednesday, September 7th (this is to make up for missing the Labor Day Meeting) all people who want to come are welcome. We will be discussing the Creating Inclusive Communities Workshop. 
SENIORS BOYS: Are you interested in being a Mr. RHS Contestant this year? If so, you need to meet during homeroom today, September 2nd in Ms. Mullen's room in B108 for an informational meeting.

There will be a blood drive on Friday September 9th!  Health Science/Med Academy students are recruiting.  You must be at least 16 years old in order to give blood!  16 year old students are required to have their parents sign a form in order to donate.  If you have questions see Mrs. Ziegler in room G120.

Senior Hosted BBQ!  Friday, September 9th at 5:00pm until the start of the football game.  All classes are invited, cost is $3.00 but Seniors get a discount of $2.00 BACK!  Your ticket includes a hot dog, drink and chips.  See any senior class officer, Mrs. Weland, or Ms. Mullen to buy a ticket or with questions!  You must bring your student ID with your ticket for entry and the class with the highest attendance wins a prize!  GO RAMS!!
College and Career Center
Sign up for the first speaker in the college/career center, Tuesday, September 6th!  Scott Voorhees, Ralston grad,  from the radio station KFAB will be here to speak about careers in the communication fields!  There will be SNACKS!!  🍬 You must sign up TODAY in the college/career center and get a ticket!

Remember you must sign up in the College/Career Center to attend any of these events during homeroom.  You'll receive a ticket as your pass to attend on the specified day!

Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors,  

The NAYI (National Agricultural Youth Institute) Omaha is having a conference at the Century Link on Friday, September 23, 2016.  The purpose is to showcase to students how you do not have to have a rural background to pursue a career in the agricultural industry – and with so many agriculture related jobs in the Omaha and the surrounding area, there is great potential for a career  in an agricultural related career in the future.   There is no cost for the conference and lunch is provided.  If you are interested in learning about careers, please see Mrs. Carlow in the College/Career center ASAP to register.


Community Service Opportunity
Volunteers Needed at the Food Bank on 10525 J Street:  Sign up online or in person to schedule your own time and earn community service.  Must be 16 to serve independently or 12-15 to serve with a supervising adult.  Call 402-905-4824 if you have questions.  See their website at:  http://foodbankheartland.org/volunteer/#section02

St. Leo's Catholic Church is having a parish festival on September 11 from 11-6, at 1920 No. 120th St.  Volunteers are needed to help with booth games and monitoring at the inflatables.  To volunteer, please all Maureen at # 402-498-5573 or # 402-210-9711.
