Destination Imagination (DI) practice has been cancelled today.  We will have practice on Monday right after school at the middle school.  If anyone is needing a ride please email Linda Hoffman at linda_hoffman@ralstonschools.org or arrange a ride with someone.  Bring your ideas.  
 
Students:  are you tech savvy?  Do you have an open period or a study hall this Term?  Would you be interested in helping out in the computer lab as an aid?  If you answered "yes" to all of these questions, please see Mr. Schrad for information!  Looking for responsible students who are in good standing academically and with no discipline issues.

Math Club will meet Monday morning at 7:15 a.m. in A203!  New members welcome!  
 
Are you brave? Can you do what most people fear more than death? Join Speech Team! We will have our first informational meeting on Wednesday, September 10th in room B218 at 3:30. Contact Mrs. Adair for any questions. 

Quiz Bowl will meet Monday after school in B121. See Ms. Hartman with questions.

 
Those students that plan to attend the "DECALYMPICS" this Saturday, Sept. 6,  MUST stop by the DECA Room A120 to SIGN UP, get a permission form and directions to the event.  We need to know who is coming so we can plan on numbers for the BBQ.
 

Green Club will meet Wednesday, September 10th after school in room B207.  Bring your turtle art!

HEY, RALSTON SENIORS!  The Senior BBQ is one week from today from 5:30 P.M. until game time.  You can buy your tickets from any senior class officer, Mrs. Honz in B206, or Ms. Rowley in B220.  You must buy a ticket in advance.  The cost is $2.00, but if you wear Ralston spirit gear, you get a dollar back when you attend the BBQ.  Stay for the game and watch the RAMS beat Lincoln Pius X!
 
You've seen the posters, now come see what F.A.I.R. is all about! Help make RHS a safer, more accepting space for all. What can we do for you? Meeting Monday, September 8th in A109 @ 3:25p.
 
Freshman & Sophomore Class officers: We will have our first meeting on Monday, September 8th. It will be right after school in room F138. Be sure to bring all of your ideas for the upcoming year to discuss!

Do you have an interest in Fashion, Design, Shopping, Sewing, Decorating, Modeling, or Beauty—anything related to Fashion?  Then come be a part of the Fashion Club here at RHS.  Our first meeting will be Wednesday September 10th in Room A107 from 3:30 p.m.- 4:00 p.m.  If you have any questions or cannot make it, contact Mrs. Krist atchristi.krist@ralstonschools.org.  
 
Online test prep through John Baylor is now available for FREE for Ralston High School students preparing for the ACT.  If you'd like access to this, please see Mrs. Athow in the Counseling Office.

College/Career Center
Juniors & Seniors: Are you interested in visiting the campuses of Creighton University and UNO ?  You can do this for free on Tuesday, September 30.  If you are passing your classes, in good standing, without excessive absences and on track to graduate, you are eligible to go. Space is limited to the first 60 students.
Doughnuts and milk will be provided at 8:00 a.m. that day in the Media Center.  The bus will leave RHS at 8:30 a.m. and return at 2:45. In order to get on the list for this visit, you must bring your completed permission slip to  Mrs. Barker no later than Tuesday, September 23. A permission slip can be can picked up in the guidance office.
 
College visitation in C/C Center today:  Doane College at 9:00.
