Blueprint enhances the core classes a student will take in their four years at Ralston High School.  Offering options to explore career fields, gain life skills, or a pursue rigorous experience through one of our academy programs, students will graduate prepared for both college and career, depending on where their plans take them after high school.

Understanding key terms will help navigate options within blueprint at Ralston High School:

Career Field: One of six general career categories that may align with a student's interests

Career Cluster: A smaller, more defined group of careers within the “field”

Program of Study: Three or more blueprint classes in a sequence focused on one career “cluster”

Academy: A more intensive sequence of classes than the program of study

Business, Marketing, & Management

The Business, Marketing, and Management program at Ralston High School prepares students for careers in accounting, finance, management, marketing, and entrepreneurship.

Blueprint - skilled and technical sciences

Skilled & Technical Services

The Automotive Academy is designed to prepare interested students for a career
within the automotive industry. Students will learn and apply skills used by automotive
technicians through our ASE-certified program.

Blueprint - human sciences and education

Future Teachers Academy

The Future Teachers Academy is designed to prepare interested students for a career
within the field of Education, including Classroom Teachers, Guidance Counselors,
Administrators, Activity Directors, School Psychologists, etc.

Blueprint - health sciences

Health Sciences Academy

The Health Sciences Academy is designed to prepare interested students for a career
within the medical field. Possible careers include Registered Nurse, Physician, Nurse’s
Assistant, and Laboratory Technician.

Blueprint - communication and information systems

Communication & Information Systems

The Information Technology Program is designed to prepare interested students for
a career within the field of information technology. Possible careers include software
engineer, programmer, and cybersecurity.
